Thank You for this video , I'm looking to relocate this year (2023) from CA and I'm guilty of judging a home by it's color (inside & outside).. Going to revisit a few homes

My wife and I are considering moving to Georgia and I start our new adventure with our 5 month old. If buy were to buy a home my concern would be home appreciation. Since the moratorium for eviction is over I wonder how the market is going to look like in 2022. Love the videos and you’ll be the first person well call when we’re ready 🙏🏽

Hey Raul, thank you for watching! Home prices will continue to appreciate in 2022, although probably not in the double digits like we've experienced this past year. The eviction moratorium will cause a slight bump in inventory but it's not nearly as much as what we would need to meet buyer demand and to have an impact on home prices. What is strongly predicted in 2022 is an increase in interest rates which will have a huge impact on affordability.

Excellent video. Thank you very much. Would like more information on requirements for residency and taxes etc for a person making a move to Georgia from California. I read that you pay taxes in Georgia until you establish residency in another state which is nice to know if true. There are probably alot of things you could talk about establishing residency in Georgia or maybe you could tell me about a video you previously made. Thanks again for a great video

I bought a building lot in a gated community in GA. I am a builder and want to be the builder of my own home, functioning as a general contractor. Is that possible?
@MovingtoGeorgia Жыл бұрын
You should be able to without any problems. Make sure you check the neighborhoods covenants and restrictions.

@@MovingtoGeorgia Thank you! Is it possible to build in Southern Georgia a somewhat bug proof screened in patio? Or is it wasted money???

Moving from Ca. To Georgia soon. We love our agent we've been friends for years. We send homes we like but they will go and video 2 other homes that we have not picked or have interest in. And when the agent finally goes to see our property of interest its gone. We've had talks, and it keeps happening. Should we move on from her Don't want to ruin a long time relationship
@MovingtoGeorgia3 жыл бұрын
Ooh, that's a tough one. It's definitely hard when you are working with close friends. I would have a call/meeting and tell them you are putting on your business hat...not to take things personally...and explain how you feel like they aren't getting to homes fast enough. I would ask what they could do differently to see how they can get you into homes faster and explain that you don't want them wasting time on homes you have no interest in. Their response and how they handle the conversation will be telling.

There are definitely pros and cons to new construction. The difference between new construction vs. new car is that your new home will appreciate in value rather than immediately depreciating once you drive off of the lot. Thank you for watchign!

The agent only works for the seller.., no matter what...
@MovingtoGeorgia3 жыл бұрын
There are two agents involved…one for the seller and one for the buyer. You haven’t had a good agent on the buy side if you believe your statement to be true.
