Fantasy Island was great too, used to love it. Not sure I'd want to sit and watch it now though, not like I would Monkey, or Knight Rider etc., little too slow for me. Catweasel was mental! It's the unique tone of The Masterspy that stuck in the memory, the mixture of genres you mention, plus the suave William Franklin and, most of all, the glamorous Jenny Lee Wright, always introduced by name each week. What was it called?

Carved onto 81,258 wooden printing blocks in the 13th century, under commission by the Goryeo dynasty of Korea (918-1392 CE), it is currently stored at Haeinsa Monastery in the southwest of the Korean Peninsula in South Korea. I used to love "Catweazle", and I enjoyed the first series with Robin Davies as Carrot, more than the second one with Gary Warren. It had a rural feel, as Carrot lived on a farm and featured Neil McCarthy as Sam, the farmhand. I think in the second series they were trying to sell it to the yanks or something so they set it in a stately home which didn't really work as well, I thought. I remember a few episodes of "Timeslip", which I enjoyed as it was an unusual idea. The budget was a bit small though and some of the scenes were a bit talky. Not really enough action! David Nixon was such a sweetheart, so engaging. I couldn't believe it when I was told he'd passed away.

A lot of these slipped through the cracks for me, I remember odd bits but no real detail. If it was a certain Mr Noakes riding the Cresta Run, climbing a monument or jumping out of a plane 5 miles up I'd remember it like it was yesterday .
