I wish. They always come back and often in irregular intervals. I've cleared an area and it be clear for an hour and I've also had them all come back after 10 minutes while I was still in the area, which is interesting to witness since you get all the slowdowns at once, but still soul crushing.

I founded some red BTs in the mountains, they give you a lot of material if you kill them. I didn't still trigger them so I don't know if they do something different from the other ones

Edepot, when you leave Geologist refugee go north on building structures direction, you will find regular BT at first but search more and Orange or red BT (whatever) will show up on the ground, there's another one on another building nearby, you'll need more than a regular ammo to kill them but they can be killed with the cord cutter like the rest, also Ex 2 paralyzed them like the Bola Gun Lv 2 does, and you can approach them safely. Although if you get grab by any BT in that area will trigger the same BT "Sephia" Boss. After you kill them they will not show up for a long time but they will re spawn after a while, there's a giant BT also near Craftsman area in the abandoned factory, you'll find something else near the coast too, but you will meet them either way later on at the end of the game. Have fun, there's more secrets 😉

If you kill all the BTs in an area they'll gradually reappear but when you cut the umbilical cord they're gone forever. Fighting bosses doesn't clear the area like ppl think. I cleared an area and immediately after they came right back. When you cut the cord you'll get the same animations and warnings but the timefall area will be empty.

Fighting bosses clear the area for a few minutes only. Cutting cords makes them go away forever or for a longer time? This means we could possibly extinguish BT from the game? That doesn't make too much sense.

@@adrianomp1895 I fought a boss (catcher) and as soon as I was done, the timefall and BTs was back in the same area and I went into another boss battle. From my personal experience cutting cords gets rid of them for good

@@twoseriousdogs6762 Well I'm sad to said all of you, I did the same long time ago, and as soon as you reset the game ( which means leaving the game and resume) BT area shows up full of BT all over again. It's not sad for me thou because we need to farm chiral crystal and fighting BT bosses is the way to do it 😉👍

Fun one that i havent seen yet in a video so yall have fun with it. Also spoilers: It you take mama to a hot spring(i did the one outside the robotosist) and you can bathe with mama(she sits far away) but if you tap the track pad before the bath you will notice she will respond to you when sam yells hello.( she says your not alone) but in the hot springs, tap the track pad and mama and sam will have a mini duet the more you tap it. Works like the harmonica. Enjoy!!

@@edepot Step 1 - You have to kill all porters (yes porters, because they can be catched by BTs you create and cause massive voidouts if they walk into wrong places unsupervised) and then burn bodies - Step 2 Kill all mules with a lethal weapon and leave all the bodies - you have a BT area instead of mule/terrorist area - Mules do not come back now. Step 3 - Clear out all the BTs in the area (you only have the amount of BTs equal to the number of people killed there). Step 4 - Repeat for every mule/terrorist area. Step 5 - You live in complete isolation with no interaction with any entity dead or alive whatsoever in the outside world. Tested and working

If you have earn the "pathfinder" achievement Mules will be gone forever for other players and you Edit : only in the area that you cleared out or the area when you got that achievement

Yes, read the pinned post. They will disappear. If you clear the catcher (after leaving a few gazers to trigger it), and wait for it to re-rain (respawn), the gazers will be gone (except for the few you left, but may have moved to other places).

edepot that's entirely self contradictory. They aren't gone forever if they spawn 'in other places'. You can't clear an area permanently, BTs and Mules will always respawn.

I don’t understand the point of all the zipline “tips”, because in the examples you are already outside of the big tar pool. Once you walk a little further it all disappears anyway, so why bother with all the zipline stuff. Just take 2 more steps and everything clears up from “escaping” them

More Hidden BT Game Mechanics in Death Stranding. Please give video a LIKE, this took a lot of experimenting to do. This is continuation of first BT Secrets video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoe8eGWPbJyFjJY For the BTs (gazers), yes they don't respawn after the next rain (try it out yourselves). Some will be there because you didn't get them during the last rain. If you are diligent, they will disappear from that area. But you must get all of them in an area before the next rain, because during the next rain, the left over will re-spawn (and it may be in a different place as shown in the sleeping section of the video). I am not sure if the permanence is triggered by online though, if yes, they may come back if you turn off and on your PS4 (just like how other's structures will disappear if the servers decide to use a different online person's structures in the next playthrough). If you find out they do respawn, please state what you did (are you sure you cleared ALL BTs in the whole area?). Sometimes there are pockets of BTs you forgot to do and going there next rain will make you think they re-spawned but only that you missed them the first run. edepot values your input (but fake accounts making fake comments will be deleted).

I do not know if this still applies and to the PC DC version, but I can never get all of the BTs in an area because, even if some are bola'd, the area will clear up after so many cords are cut.

@@darkerpath I was only able to stop the rain for awhile because it clears up before you can get all of the BTs. I was able to clear a path and it stayed clear until the 2 week jump back at the end. You don't really need it to stay clear for 100%. Last part for me getting 100% was the homo faber and by extension, the roadster races.

I have been able to clear paths that stayed clear 200 hrs later. They were repopulated after defeating Higgs and the subsequent "two weeks earlier". This was most useful getting to and from Port Knot City.

Rain never stops when Gazers start. You must stay still, don't move the gamepad sticks, and not be in path of the BT Grabbers when they start
