Great recommendations and thanks for the shout out on P.I.! This is precisely the kind of content I love seeing lately. So many gems still lost to VHS that deserve discussion.

Thanks Mike! Yeah there’s still so much we are not getting on physical media in a works where people think everything is on streaming

In covering these only-available-on-VHS releases, you often made mention of the music or score in these films, and as I'm sure you're no doubt aware, a common main reason a film does not receive a re-release on a newer format is due to the music being used in the film. Nevertheless, I hope you will continue to do more of these types of "only available on VHS," or "stuck on DVD, and needs a blu-ray re-release" kind of episodes. Thanks, Brian.

Definitely working on more of these, thx!

I had Dead Solid Perfect on vhs back in the day and I lent it to my Dad to watch in his Winnebago on a golf trip and never got it back.🙄 Pop passed away a few years ago and I miss him, but I never stopped bugging him about losing that tape. My Buddy ripped a copy off pirate bay last year and it was very nostalgic for me to see that funny little film again. Randy Quaid is great and Jack Warden is hilarious as Bad Hair.🎥👍🏼😆

Jack Warden and Quaid definitely both great there for sure. So sorry about your dad and that you never got that tape back

Club Life is great, it's like Roadhouse but drenched in neon and cocaine. Cheers Brian!

Great video! As long as you do VHS videos, I will watch them. I haven't seen any of these films, and I've only heard of DEAD SOLID PERFECT. (I didn't remember that Kathryn Harrold was in it, though!) It's amazing how many films never made it to DVD. (Especially considering what Vinegar Syndrome and VS partner labels unearth on a monthly basis. In a "The Extras" podcast, George Feltenstein said that JOURNEY INTO FEAR never made it to DVD. It's a film overseen by Orson Welles, co-written by Welles, and allegedly partially directed by Welles! Fortunately, it got a restored Warner Archive blu-ray release this year.

Oh interesting about JOURNEY, didn’t realize it had never gotten a dvd. Warner Archive has definitely brought a lot of gems to Blu

Also, the sountrack score for "Made In USA" was done by Sonic Youth. It was released on CD later on in 1995. I love these vids You're doing, as I'm a long time collector of VHS rare gems; thanks!

Light Of Day is another, surprised a movie with Michael J. Fox and Joan Jett as well as Gena Rowlands and Michael McKean has never been released on DVD or blu-ray

I love Dead Air...Fred Walton made some other great TV movies too. Favourites being Trapped (1989) & When A Stranger Calls Back (1993). I'm also a big fan of Pulsebeat... absolutely ridiculous film that everyone should see.
