What I've always found interesting regarding Batman and the various Lantern corps is that he's actually incompatible with all of them. Uses fear too much for Green Has far too much willpower for Yellow Too philanthropic as Bruce Wayne for Orange Too controlled for Red Too cynical for Blue Too brutal for Indigo Too much anger in his heart for Violet

He has wielded that power ring before in Brightest Days when he was given it by Deadman because he thought Batman was the champion of Earth, and while the ring determined that Batman was a worthy candidate since he was able to sustain its power and might, it also determined that the burden of the ring shouldn’t fall on his shoulders alone, leading Deadman back on his search for the true champion of the ring. Of course he can’t be a Black Lantern because you have to be dead to be a Black Lantern.

The thing that's actually kind of awesome about Batman's scheme of throwing Lois off a building, is that it actually comes from Batman's unshakable faith in Superman - he absolutely, unequiocally believes in the goodness and strength of character of Superman, and bets on it here. There's another story where Batman creates a bat suit so powerful he can actually influence the minds of those around him with it, and he uses it to convince the Justice League to believe Superman can and absolutely will escape a seemingly inescapable dimensional prison to save the day - which Sups absolutely does.

Even with that Batman some how still naturally gains super powers that he just casually put's to the side. He still has the yellow lantern ring, and I don't know why they included the yellow room thing when it was established Batman's willpower is so strong he can take and use any Green Lantern ring. That's a bigger flex then painting a room yellow. Plus thanks to Darknight's metal they further established Batman's will power as being stronger than the Guardians since he was able to over write the Green Lantern ring as a child. Then Batman becomes a god like four times a god of knowledge, the sole being who can genetical rewrite memories of a universe, a Nth Metal god able to do almost anything, and the god at the end of time when Darkseid banished him to the time stream.

There is one badass moment, in my heart, that would always exceed all of these. IN JLA Unlimited, an older Terry goes visit Amanda Waller because he is piss off about what he discovers regarding is compatibility with the original Dark Knight. She then tell him a story. It is about Ace, she is dying and her power could goes haywire. She have a tool to kill Ace and Batman offer to be volunteer. The point thought, he instead choose from the beginning to throw away the doodad and stand by her side until her end. Even if this is not epic, it is freaking badass to show that yeah he is a genius, a great fighter, but we often forget the other side of his, the caring guy. Why does he take those Robins, why he allowed so many in the bat family. Simple, without him, they might try on their own and would have surely die sooner or worst and took the easiest route and become killer. So showing more of this side of him. this is badass. Some will come to me and say that he abandon some like the first girl to be Robin, but he still try and hope that some will stop and won't keep doing it. This is just an opinion by the way. Take it or leave it.
