My piggies like to shove their heads under the food bowl and crash it down over and over when they want food😂And I love it when they play tug of war or ‘greedy steal’. It makes me laugh SO much when they scuttle away into a corner to eat their bounty🥲

Laughed so much at this! My two cheeky girls are experts at the head nudge! I can leave their cage clean and tidy and return 10 minutes later to sheer devastation. Houses and tunnels turned upside down, and the hay tray moved from one end of the cage to the other, with the contents scattered quite literally everywhere! The look of innocence on their faces, too!!! Little horrors! 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣😍

I have 2 girls and 1 little boy Tommy. He loves, loves playing "snatch the lettuce 🥬" from the girls then cheeky runs off but I've seen my girls get revenge and it's so funny to watch them fight for it.

I love watching Sir Beef use his head to throw around the strawberry hide that I got for them. It’s even funnier when his brother is in it because you can see the frustration Beef has. Doesn’t get why it’s not moving out of his way lol. The boys are always stealing from each other’s mouths and when they both get treats to chew on they seem to love ignoring their own and going for each other’s

My girls have perfected the steal. Especially with tomato or cucumber. They also rumble strut to say how happy they are. Which is where they rumble and try and run around the cage as fast as they can, which isn't fast when your rumbling. Amaya also loves popcorning off the ramp landing with a thud. It's amazing how much noise a 1.2Kg piggie makes on landing at 2am.

The rumble is one of my favorite Guinea pig behaviors, its so funny! Especially when they walk very slowly and go through their tunnel while rumbling! They remind me of little cars going through a carwash! 😂

Awesome! I have seen all of this. The best is my older ladies. If that wooden hut is not perfect, they will power nudge it into proper alignment. My oldest and first is Mia. She will walk beside me on the floor, and if I am in her way I am properly power nudged out of her way...

This video was so cute, and very relatable! I agree about the rumbling or burring during petting. I heard a respected guinea pig expert say it's purring, but any of my piggies who have done it seemed to be saying, "Don't pet me there!" (The purring mine have had is a quiet, cute sound.) Very confusing! But, anyway, this was a fun video! 😊

I have had guinea pigs for years and one thing I will add is that their head nudges are not out of anger or discontent. They are simply trying to see. If you block their eye or eyes at all they will do that. 😊

I happened to look up right after the *WHEEK WHEEK* segment of this truly detailed fact video about guinea pig dramatics had begun, only to see one of mine *staring* at me whilst strategically standing by his food dish. And then one of the girls took up the call, and now they're all going off, and I'm getting *looks* 😳 and if I could upvote this fifty times I would, because it speaks piggy truth. And is utterly hilarious to boot. Seriously though, this is brilliant. And because pigs and I currently share a room they're all going off like tiny furry car alarms now courtesy of the WHEEK part of the video lol. The song of the furry potato. Long live our pigs! I'm a relatively new owner and would stroke the pigs whilst eating and they'd make that rumble purr soynd. As awful as it soynds, we found it hilarious as it sounded like swearing in piggy (especially as they wouldn't let the food go). Now they get me back as i just have to move a toe and the cacophony for food begins😂. Love them!

My boys are huge drama queens, especially my black silkie Loki. He’s the most ornery pig ever. Doesn’t like to be touched, doesn’t like his brother sleeping near him, thinks he’s the boss pig (and for the most part is) until his brother gets sick of being mounted and fights back, then Loki turns into a wuss. 😂 His brother, Odin (he was blind in one eye when I got him), squeals like his life is being threatened whenever his brother gets dominant. This video made me laugh, cause I guess all pigs have the same behaviours.

Hi, oh yes piggis can be drama queens and showmasters. Some of my boys have been really showmasters. My beloved boy Floki possed one time on a turned down bread basket like a wild lion on a rock. His lady Goldie, my wife and I admired him for beeing a so beautiful and handsome guy. He reacted with an huge leap from the bread basket and added some popcorns and jumps of joy.

I have two beautiful little wibbly girls - Bandit and Slodge - and they are settling nicely. Lots of happy behaviours, and getting better at being picked up/cuddled (snacks always help!) I have two male guinea pigs and they have a C&C cage I would love to get a new guinea pig but I'd need to get my current males neutered if I got a girl and I've read that I would need to get a female as males are very dominant and would fight.
