I personally think that the Rick-Morty we see in the citadel actually just Rick fusing himself with Morty to not have to deal with having a morty. He just mixed the two together, at the expense of not having such intelligence ad Rick. From the same episode we see Rick explaining that morty and rick waved cancel out each other. It would make sense to just put them together to get average brainwaves.

Sometimes I think that some theories might be true and might be what the writers were planning BUT they decide to change it so it doesn't look like we "cracked" it.

I think they do that a bit too much. I know they don't want to be cliched or obvious, but sometimes the fans are going to guess the twist because some of the fans are bound to be at least as good at telling stories as the show's creators. Just because a handful of people beat them to the punch doesn't mean the ideas aren't creative or interesting enough to to be a part of the show. They obviously enjoy subverting our expectations, and that's part of what makes it a great show. I just think they try a bit too hard sometimes to be unpredictable when that's only one aspect of the shows appeal. Being 6 seasons in, I'd rather have a few more convential stories over another "Story Train" type of mindfuckery. It was a decent episode, but I think they really pushed the limits of the 4th wall stuff to breaking point in that one.

I always thought that the story Rick “fabricated” for the interrogator was a fabrication of a potentially real scenario. And “our” Rick is actually the one who threw the bomb , and killed simple Rick’s family. This would explain why he seemed genuinely sad while the scenario played out, because he feels bad for killing an alternate version of his wife and daughter. The story also isn’t technically a memory, because he didn’t see the aftermath of the explosion, since he threw the bomb through a portal.

We've assumed that Evil Morty has been controlling Evil Rick. And at the end of that episode, the Evil Rick was revealed to be a robot. But we only know that that body had cybernetic parts. And it's revealed that Evil Morty also has cybernetic parts, and that there was a control link. But what if it was Evil Rick who was in control the entire time? And with that control link, perhaps before Evil Rick was killed, he transferred his mind into Evil Morty. So perhaps the theories have been getting it backwards this entire time. So rather than Evil Morty being a Rickless Morty, perhaps Evil Morty is in fact Evil Rick who had taken over the mind of his own Morty to use him as camouflage. With that said, Rick Prime claims to be the Rickest Rick. But what if Evil Morty/Rick is even Ricker than Rick Prime? That would explain why Evil Morty/Rick hates Ricks even more than Rick Prime.

You dont take into effect the fact that the Rick's knew the technology used, and thus they knew the exact function of the transmitter. It doesnt make sense that those Rick's wouldn't understand how that technology works when they are also as smart as any other Rick.

C137 Rick knew how to camouflage himself from other Ricks in an easier way but the Evil Morty had to use a ton of Mortys.

When rick says we only have two or three more of these, regarding replacing themselves in another universe, I interpreted it as another 4th wall breaking joke as the story device gets stale if used too much and emotional bonds to the characters might suffer. I think Rick's aware that the cancellation of the show is the end of the universe we're seeing, which is in our universe. This is why he can make a contradictory claim regarding the infite universes. Maybe I'm reading into it too much or just making up stuff too make sense of it, we shall see haha

I cant understand why anyone would question whether Rick is aware that he is a character on a show. Morty has also made a few comments regarding being similarly aware. I imagine this fact is something Dan & Justin expect viewers to instinctively know. Being the smartest man in the universe...Rick would HAVE to be aware of the existential dynamic surrounding his existence in the first place. Some of the conspiracy theories Ive seen online are just silly and implausible, but many seem so spot on, I cant imagine them not being at min, SOMEWHAT plausible. also one thing about the Smart seeds is you might only get the side effect the first time you use it. Because Rick and Morty were trapped inside that mini verse for a while and I can gurantee he didnt have enough in his flask to stay smart making those crazy machines out of just trees and branches. I think with the Seeds Rick prob drinks them still but also is smart enough after all hes done to not need them to still be smart and since his body is so use to it no side effects when they wear off. The Scary thing to think about is Evil Morty started immediatly taking all of the Seeds from the Farmer Ricks Farm literally the moment after Evil Morty became president.

Alright, 2 years later and the season 4 finale came out yesterday,beth is a clone but neither of the clones know which, one is "star wars" and one is "beth" in the end we find out Rick removed his memory of the cloning and when we watch the memory we find out he mixed them up so he doesn't even know.

6:30 Film Theory actually concluded that no, Beth wasn’t cloned because of the method they used to look at clocks and references of time, For example we know that Morty and Summer come home from custody weekend Sunday morning and not Monday Night because the Pizza place Renaldo’s is closed by the time they get back which means that the episode would’ve taken place on a Saturday not a Sunday. Go watch the actual episode, it makes chronological sense and it’s a real icebreaker of a conclusion, it’s called “ *Film Theory: Did Rick clone Beth?* “

I believe Beth was cloned. To make her cloning make perfect sense. All you have to do is invert the roles. Beth didn't clone herself to leave her family, but an exact copy could live a life of adventure that she otherwise wouldn't wouldn't be able to with the family. All rick would have to do is erase the cloning process from Beths memory.
