Rick's "world", before the recent season, wasn't infinite. Remember that he locked himself and the other ricks into the finite curve which only includes universes where they are the smartest person in the universe. So, not infinite. So, the TV could be viewed in a universe outside of the finite curve

I Think it was infinite anyways, even evil morty in the season’s 5 finale said that he blocked the infinite universes in which Rick is the smartest man in the universe from the infinite amount of those in which he isn’t. As of now, November 2024, seasons 3 to 7 has not mentioned the sauce or McDonalds as far as I know, but I wouldn’t be surprised if sometime in season 9, in reference to the “even if it takes 9 seasons”, if Rick randomly yoinks morty into an adventure where they go to the McDonalds headquarters, demand the sauce comes back, refuse to leave, and eventually get a deal after some weird stuff happens.
