A lot of people talk about tourist traps like they’re a bad thing but when I go somewhere I wanna go do touristy things. I don’t want to fly in from out of town and do things I could normally do at home or eat at places I could go to at home. I say bring on the tourist traps! 👍🏾

I agree. When my family and I vacation, we hardly ever eat from chain restaurants. We love trying the small businesses in the neighborhood.

The tip is actually NOT to get in the line for the welcome to Las Vegas sign, as that is the line for someone to take your photo then you have to pay the photographer, you can instead be your own photographer and walk to the side and do a selfie of your own, save time and money totally unnecessary to waste

You need to wait in line in order to take your turn with the sign, just like all the other people. You DO NOT need to pay the person there to take your picture unless you want too. You can quite easily ask the person behind you to take the photo. Maybe offer to do the same for them. The person offering to take your picture has no official status regarding the sign, they’re just there to make some money. Even if you have them take your picture, you do not have to pay him if you don’t want to; the same as any street performer. Tipping is a courtesy, not a requirement. If a performer hassles you for payment, you are within your rights to threaten to call the police.

@@mmasque2052 no you don't, unless you only want a straight shot of the sign, or someone take that picture for you, plenty of other Vegas KZbinrs said the same tip about not needing to wait in line if you are only doing a selfie on the side of the sign, there are other people did the same too, just your picture will be angled, totally fine with me

Overlooked the Strat's observation bar. I suggest checking it out during the day, then looking south. A great place to get LV themed gifts, the Bonanza Gift Shop, it is about the size of a supermarket.

Great tips . You crazy kids are so fun . I’ve been to Madame Tussaud’s in London which was really cool. I have to try the one in Vegas . Not sure about Area 15 …any tips for Area 51 lol . Thankfully I did my pic at the Vegas sign years ago as it’s always so busy. Very informative and cool video as always 😎😎😎

Las Vegas has become one big rip off. Over priced hotels with the worse service EVER, and rip off so called celebrity restaurants with highly inflated prices. We used to love Vegas ,but WON'T be returning any time soon after our xmas 2022 visit. VEGAS SUCKS. 😖😖😖

I went to the gold and silver to sell a map and to hopefully see the cast. I was told they weren’t available that day to appraise my map. So I went back to my hotel and in 35 min I turned 200 into 10300 at blackjack. I couldn’t make a wrong move that day

When I was in Vegas in 2021 we went to the wax museum but we were smart enough to get up early have breakfast because I stayed at the Venetian and we were the first in line so I say plan ahead.

How about Pinball Hall of Fame? This is a great tourist trap, if you are tired of losing money at the casinos, spend some time here, I went in February of 2022 and spent 10 dollars in 3 hours playing and walking down nostalgia road, well worth your time if you love pinball and video games ❤

To call some of these a tourist trap is a bit misleading. A tourist trap usually brings in the tourists, then sells them overpriced goods and services. Some of these "tourist traps" mentioned are free.
