Honestly, I've always believed that if people lived in worlds with superheroes like Shazam, there would inevitably be people who would get fed up and not give a shit when yet another super powered fight happens in front of them.

Supposedly, there is a frame or two of Ace Ventura's Jimmy as he crawls out the hole of the mechanical rhino. Carrey was actually naked and reports after its release in 1995 had people thinking they saw his little Fire Marshall Bill. I saw the movie twice in the theaters and the second time after the news reports were out so I seem to notice the scene has some shrinkage on home video, cable and streaming.

Fun fact! If you listen to the Gladiator commentary by Ridley Scott, when Russell Maximus kills Joaquin Ceaser, Ridley points out within the crowd watching in horror and silence, is a bloke right in the middle of frame, picking his nose!

These videos kind of fall apart when the "thing you weren't supposed to see" ends up being something that happens in real life that could lend realism to a movie scene. Like a fly landing on your face or getting bonked by someone because neither of you was paying attention.

That wasn't the blue jeans shot I was thinking of in Gladiator. After the first battle when Maximus is in the camp petting his horse, you can see a man in jeans walking backwards out of the shot.

The camera guy can just be digitally removed, "movies are never completed only abandoned! We are simply passing through history, this is improved history!" Do people even watch the Lord of the Rings theatrical version when we have the extended editions 🤔, I last saw them in theater. I only have them on 4K because they came with the superior versions You can actually hear that Raiders fly now

At the end of Back to the Future 3, the bit where Doc comes back on the time travelling train he introduces his sons Jules and Verne to Marty. Then the littlest kid is clearly seen pointing at his crotch. the kid is probably trying to tell a parent or director he needs the toilet or something. It's kind of hard to miss once you notice it though.

The most blatant case of visible crew members has to be the Sean Penn movie "Bad Boys". There a fight scene where one of the cameramen is in the shot for several seconds.

Not a movie but a tv show that I saw had the clear view of the camera's shadow even though it was supposed to be a wild west show. It was Bonanza. Can't remember the exact episode but one of the characters lost their horse and stopped a stage coach to hitch a ride. Well the shot was from behind as they rode and you can clearly see the camera's shadow on the stage coach. Usually they're really good about that but you can't unsee it.
