Dredd is good movie and one of the top comic movies of all time easy. But it also helps to show Karl Urban will treat IPs that an old nerd like me loves with respect.

6:16 In 1995, after the colossal failure of Cutthroat Island, the Hollywood studios treated the entire pirate genre like leprosy, and refused to make another one. Even after 8 years had passed, the prospects of a pirate movie being anything but a gigantic flop were astronomical. This is what made Pirates of the Caribbean such a risk, but Disney came out on top with their unexpected hit, which became the foundation for the multi million dollar POTC franchise, and a steady and hefty paycheck for Johnny Depp.

Hollywood _always_ takes the wrong lessons when movies do poorly. Like with _Supergirl_ and then deciding, “Right; female superheroes don’t sell!” and not instead thinking, “MAN was that bad.”

Anybody involved in VFX knows that too much credits goes to Andy Serkis and not enough to the animators. I am not saying that Serkis performance is not great, I am saying that nobody mentions the amazing work of the animators as motion capture is not done and that's a wrap thing, it needs weeks and months of correction and refinements.

Films I never expected them to be amazing in my opinion: The Iron Lady. The life about Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher. And the ideals of Neoliberalism. The Goldfinch. I care even if it's different from the book's source material. Sucker Punch. I find it more as a story of female empowerment for teens, young adults, and young girls alike. According to Zack Snyder. Much like Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The Golden Compass. Reasons. Eragon. I like the deviations of the source material. It felt like it had a proper ending. Inkheart. I don't really need a sequel. It felt complete as one film. The Hobbit Trilogy. I watch these films as a tradition in December. Watchmen. I'm glad DC made more stuff about Watchmen. Even if Alan Moore is against it. Percy Jackson films 2010's. I don't mind about the changes anymore. It ended with two films, but it felt like an ending here. The new upcoming tv series can adapt the entire books. Take some elements from the films as well. Any adaptations of the source material has the right to be canon too. Postal. The entire film didn't not age well. I enjoyed more is the soundtrack, and Uwe Boll's tax loophole shelter methods. I don't this as a scheme. But for companies who don't have money to pay tax debts. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was made as a tax loophole shelter to pay the IRS. A first example of this happened. I agree there. Wanted. To me, the film feels something out of The Matrix from the office scenes to the bullet time effects. No news of a sequel is announced yet. Vice. It's a film about the agreements of the right and left political parties. While the apathetic folks who aren't into politics, are worried about why is is this happening. Its like a family argument with political ideals. I found it like Captain America Civil War, without the special effects, fight choreography, it also mentions films too. And Amityville The Awakening. The film is amazing in its own right. But, it was involved by the infamous Harvey Weinstein. Leave Bob Weinstein out of this. He's not the one should be considered infamous. Harvey's the one who's infamous. The wait for the MeToo Movement has finally come in late 2017. It was worth it. Bob Weinstein was not the infamous one after all. He has some good in him left, and has the rights to go back to filmmaking. Goodbye and farewell, Mr. Harvey Weinstein. So long.
