10 Must Ask Questions That Will SHOCK Your Spine Surgeon!

Healthcare providers are notorious for scaring the living daylights out of people like you... people in pain... labeling and saying "you have a bad back!" Not cool. And everyday I chat with people suffering with back, butt, and sciatica pain who have been led to believe that the reason they hurt is because of the findings on their image... yet, their story doesn't line up. In this video, I role play a conversation between a patient with back, butt, or sciatic pain and their surgeon. I'd recommend you write down the questions from this video and ask them to your spine surgeon/ physician/ orthopedic spine doctor/ whoever you're talking to about your back pain or X-ray/ MRI findings. This will give you a flavor for if they're up to speed on the latest research, and how transparent and confident they feel in their approach to helping you. As the old saying goes... honesty is the best policy... and unfortunately many providers scare people into believing that they need pills, shots, surgery, or "their treatment" - without backing it with sound logic or science. Be careful and don't be afraid to ask your spine surgeon these questions.
