A great attention to details, and yet not over-detailled. The hardened clay (oops, the terracotta) really gives the mood one would expect from castle rooms. Nerd is taking me back to school, again.

I wasn't really good and interior decorating and even now I'm still not that good. However, from the many videos of yours and others I've seen, I've learned so much and STILL learn something new EVERY VIDEO!!! I'm grateful for folks like you that show how to see things differently. The redstone ore and vine hack you mentioned last time is absolutely amazing!! I even tried it with lapis!! Edit: spelling errors

Just found this - while I love the color on the walls I’m staying one deep on my current castle but I got a lot of inspiration from this so thank you so much!! I built this enormous castle because I wanted to then realized …. I don’t need all of these rooms. Wtf am I going to do with all these rooms? Now I know, lol. I made a three story library after watching this.

I have just returned to Minecraft after being away for 8yrs. My sons grew up and moved on but now my daughter has reached the age to play...yippee for me😁 Obviously one of the first things she really wanted was a Castle. I found a basic build from Grian but needed some inspiration for filling it up...Grian never does the interiors😅 So glad I found you👍. Amazing creativity, enough to keep me inspired for a long time to come.

This helps a lot, designing interiors around an already complete exterior can be tricky. My shit always looks sick from the outside but the interior ends up lack very lack luster in comparison. I find especially with castles somehow you both have too much open space to work with and then not enough at the same time. This is where adding a massive basement can come in real handy to add all the actual functional things necessary for your survival world. Bc at the end of the day whats the point of a castle if it doesn't have a throne room, a mess hall, etc, but you still need it to work as your home base in your survival world.

Greetings BlueNerd, Your tutorials have been quite inspirational and I have enjoyed learning your unique style and applying it to my own world. I do have a question for you or one of the other members here. Is there a texture pack available to PS4 that comes near to the one you use? I am specifically interested in getting better windows as so much of the look of the structure is lost with the default panes. I appreciate any recommendations as I have yet to find one on my own and the Wanderlust I am using just is not quite it. Keep up the fine work and I am looking forward to the new series! Cheers

I think in the storage room it would look good if instead of the healthy living ferns the rest of the castle has, the plant pots on the shelves had dead bushes, like they were plants that had died and the pots were waiting to be reused.

These tips are great, Blue. But there is one thing I struggle with the most when it comes to stuff like this: These rooms look very nicely designed and decorated, but I'm gonna have to find a way to connect them in an actual castle structure. And that is where the HUGE struggle comes in. I struggle with the room placement so bad, my castle exterior ends up not looking like how I wanted it to look. It's so frustrating.
@huntertempleton42192 жыл бұрын
A good thing to do is to not build the exact room he has, instead build the whole castle and then fill the rooms similar to how he did it, make sure it looks nice but not an exact copy of his

Thank you good sir,🫡 I would say I’m a pretty good builder but I suck ass at interior. Just build a sick castle in my long term survival. I was loosing my mind trying to decorate the interior. The exterior designer in me ended up building basically a house inside of one of my huge rooms. It was literally just a house in a box 😂 I’ve gone tore everything down and am making several rooms instead of 4 huge rooms
