@carriethompson842 жыл бұрын
I genuinely get so excited when I see that you posted a new video! I love seeing all the things that you put in your world. I have two of your houses that I built in my last world but it's getting hard for me to use that world for survival because there's so much that I did in creative LOL. I wish I could get the bushy leaves so bad but you can't do it on Bedrock or Pocket Edition. I'm guessing bedrock and Pocket Edition are basically the same thing? I'm not even sure because I'm just pretty new to Minecraft but the bushy leaves make so much difference! It's amazing how you can put the bushy leaves in a room and it looks wonderful but if you put a square what tree leaf in the corner of a room, it just looks so out of place LOL
@BlueNerdMC2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Carrie, yeah it's a shame that the bushy leaves don't work across all platforms. I think only java edition has the capability to make the look bushy unfortunately. =)
@Opti2342 жыл бұрын
Ye XD bedrock player’s pain. Also the bushy leaves is a texture pack, if you didn’t know that btw. Looks nice tho! I think all of us have one time or another gone to relative in survival worlds to do stuff XD
@carriethompson842 жыл бұрын
@@Opti234 lol.. so is Bedrock the same as pocket edition? There's alot I've learned about MC just in one month. I started in creative and just built my arse off lol then I started survival but I use a mod with "God mode" bc I die too much ha! I try to play like it's not in God Mode but then I catch myself jumping off the porch of the house just bc I can lmao!!! I wanna get better bc I play the game like an obsession. I have a 5 year old and I feel I'm being neglectful at times bc of Minecraft... it's that serious. Neglectful as far as attention. He eats & has all he needs but I'm making myself take breaks more and more. I've never liked a game so much!!!!!
@Opti2342 жыл бұрын
@@carriethompson84 yes, pretty much. Basically it’s the pocket edition is bedrock, but bedrock isn’t pocket edition. Bedrock version has many ways to play, from Windows and Nintendo switch to pocket edition and Xbox. Nice! It took me multiple years to learn as much as you did XD. Ye, I have a younger brother I have to take care of, so… Minecraft is very fun! It love it!
@carriethompson842 жыл бұрын
@@Opti234 ok that makes a lot more sense. So now I'm trying to figure out what really is the difference between Java and Bedrock? I know Java is played on a computer and I think only on a computer but I could be wrong. I'm guessing Bedrock can be played on multiple devices like you said and then Pocket Edition is basically Bedrock but on a phone or tablet. Yeah I've done a lot of research and my son watches tons of Minecraft videos on the Roku so they are constantly playing and we will see and hear things all the time and we've learned a lot that way and watching videos on KZbin. I have the hardest time with redstone and I've tried to learn about it as much as I can and I understand what it does but I just get so confused about how to setup the comparators and The Hoppers and I feel like it's not really that hard but it is LOL I don't know how to explain it. Man, I don't know how old you are but you definitely shouldn't have to take care of a child especially if it's not your child. I know you always love your siblings no matter what but sometimes it can just be such a weight on a child's shoulders or even a young adult to have to take care of a young child that is not their own child because you have to grow up faster than you should but I had to be there a lot for my little sister growing up because my dad was a single father so as much as I wish it could have been different sometimes, I also appreciate what it taught me and it made me more understanding, caring and compassionate and most of all, mature. I was told since I was 17 that I had an old soul and I definitely think that played a role. I didn't have to take care of my sister like a lot of kids do but there were just a lot of situations where I felt like I just really had to have her back especially with certain babysitters and things like that trying to be mean or even take advantage. I hate to make this long but we had a babysitter one time and she would not let my sister get an ice cream from Dairy Queen unless he ate her coleslaw at lunch and my sister absolutely hated coleslaw and mayonnaise I will never understand that but it was okay because her son ended up to be a wild firecracker by the age of three, he was climbing out of Windows of the house or trying to, my dad told me this years later but she didn't abuse us physically or anything but emotionally, that was definitely emotional abuse.

I don't like to use concrete powder for "grass" partly because it's a bit too bright and cartoony, and partly because I don't like to use "inorganic" blocks to simulate "organic" blocks. It's like putting rows of astroturf in your lawn. That said...I also don't like lawns. They don't look good, they waste water, and I hate mowing. I like to put down coarse dirt blocks, and then cover them with moss carpet, so it's like I've put down a planting of Dwarf Carpet of Stars.

I always find these sorts of videos misleading, because of the use of nonvanilla textures and additions to leaf fluffage.. Some of these builds won't translate as well for the majority who use default vanilla textures. With the change of textures and leaf additions.. they look great.
@BlueNerdMC2 жыл бұрын
The majority of the texture pack are vanilla pretty much the only change is leaves, small flowers, and iron bars. As with all my builds i check them in vanilla and can tell you that you there is barely a difference, they will all translate fine in vanilla.
