Despite not having many opportunities to socialize with native English speakers, I've been diligently learning the language through a great online dictionary combined with movies and news with subtitles. This has allowed me to understand their meanings and hear them in various contexts - turning off the subtitles occasionally helps sharpen my listening skills! Additionally, lessons from your channel are invaluable; thank you for providing such an informative resource! With intermediate English language skills and a determined attitude, everyone can become proficient in the language. Applying natural expression to lesson material makes it easier to understand and longer lasting mental retention. Self-teaching is doable with some flexibility regarding grammar usage but still essential.

Hello, thank you so much. I have one question about one of those phrases. Drive someone up a wall. I have googled it to make sure, but it says "Drive someone up the wall". They use "the" instead of "a", so I am confused which one I should use ???

If you allow me ; I'd say, the correct expression is ; for example; - She drives me up THE wall. But Kayla said ; "drive up A wall", well I would also say that what Kayla said is correct 'cause all americans say it like that too, they're used to say it like that even though it might not be correct, so my conclusion is "you can say it both ways, anyway they'll understand what you mean.
