I’ve never use a peeler either because I grew up watching my mother peel potatoes with a parent knife, and once you get the quick knack of it, you would never use a peeler again! And I promise you won’t lose a finger :)

I have carpal tunnel in my hands and am a little wobbly with a knife. Sometimes I scare myself cutting my food on a plate. I’d definitely lose a finger or half a hand peeling taters and sweet taters are HARDER to peel.

I am so glad between you and your sister when you say that you love black pepper, you actually love black pepper by the amount ur pour,I love it too!!! And most other channels, they say they love black pepper, and they go to add it, and barely add like a turn or two from the Peppermill, and it aggravates me

if you have an air fryer you can spray the peels with a little oil spray and add garlic and salt, air fry them,, so good

I love soup. I made a sweet potato, butternut squash and carrot soup with chicken yesterday. I made enough for 6 meals and froze 5 of them. So much dicing of orange vegetables that my hands and knife changed colors. My hands were able to get cleaned by the end of the day but nothing I did change the orange color on my light blue handled knife. It was my favorite one with the flowers on the blade. Plus I got sprayed with soup while using the immersion blender. Good thing my shirt was a burnt orange color. I think your dinner looked really tasty. I didn’t know you could use that immersion blender to mix in those frozen vegetables like that. I’m not a fan of frozen mixed veggies but I think having them blended into the soup they wouldn’t be as bad.

Not surprised about the kitty. A lot of cats go to the one who doesn’t make eye contact, I guess they appear less threatening? Ever notice how a cat will immediately go to the person with allergies or the one who can’t stand cats? 😂. I think that’s why. 🤷🏼‍♀️. She’ll warm up with loving. In the meantime, encourage the girls to make a sweet game of letting her come to them. Maybe a reward board or something simple? The soup looks yummy!
