We joined Walmart+ when it was first offered in our area. I had a medically complicated newborn and family 1200 miles away. Having my groceries delivered saved this postpartum, sleep deprived mama in a big way! A few babies later, I still use it. It also helps me to stay in my budget because I can’t buy what I can see! lol. Another various your family might enjoy is a ground beef version of this meal. It’s called, “Cheapsteaks”. It’s so good, definitely a favorite in my house. Your family is so precious! I am over from Brooke’s channel! I love the content y’all put out. It’s so real and relatable for me. ❤

Emily, I am a new subscriber. I really like your channel. Brook said that you had started your own channel and to check it out and so I did. I just love your content. I remember those busy week nights, trying to get everything done. I used to cook hamburger for more than one meal at a time for meals like sloppy joes, goulash, etc. which saved me time. When my girls were little I would make like Arby’s beef and cheddars sandwiches with the steakums with onion buns. I would put a slice of sharp cheddar cheese and Catalina dressing on them. My girls just loved them. Just trying to give you some ideas.

I use Walmart delivery. I'm a Walmart+ member. Right now, it's $49 a year. It's always half price if you qualify. I save so much money because I don't impulse shop. With my membership, all deliveries are free, if I need one potato, they deliver.

I love garlic if a recipe says 1-2 cloves of garlic at least 5-6 go in. I can't believe anyone thinks 1 clove of garlic is good enough for anything. 😂 I love how McKinley shops with you and helps you cook without complaining about what you're making but still doesn't like anything. I am a single co-parenting mama and disabled. I don't have a lot of extra money. I do however budget for instacart (Walmart is a hike from me). There are days I can't get out of bed and instacart is a lifesaver. I know that if I need groceries for my kiddos I can have them delivered. I also do the pickup feature. It does save me money from impulse buys.

I pay for the yearly subscription for walmart and target...this past year I got them both for half price....so that's great. I have been so thankful for them due to medical issues so having the ability to make orders from the hospital and have things delivered to the house for my son, and then when I came home the groceries were being delivered. LOL...perfect timing. It has been really handy.. I think I have that same set of knives from Wally....I think they are pretty, but I have to sharpen them each time I use them.

I bought the same knives. They're not good unless you get them sharpened. I sharpen my own and let me tell you, it took a long time to get a good edge. Kinley, I have the same tea set, I love it. It's perfect for Easter.

Thanks Emily for the recipe, looks good. Please don't use that knife 😢🤢. The best are Cutco brand and are guaranteed for life of not only you but for all generations to come! Expensive but you can buy 1 piece at a time. After a kitchen fire l sent my set off for cleaning and sharpening (just $9!) and they discovered a break between the handle of one and replaced it. No charge. Cost if l had to replace that piece was $184!but l got it for Free! They didn't care that l paid $1.50 for 5 knives at a yard sale. Rada are sweet little knives as well,cheaper,easy to sharpen,often sold at Mennonite stores. Just no dishwasher or you'll have ugly handles 😬😆
