Hi andrew, red sonja is featured in the stories of conan the barbarian. A couple of her solo books were published in the eighties, as far as i remember. Her comics went hand in hand with the marvel conan comics, also in the eighties Greets tom 😊

You don't need to read Memory, Sorrow and Thorn to read the four sequels but it is recommended. There's a 35 year time gap between the two so it's a little easier to manage than a direct sequel that starts not much later and he will gradually fill you in during the first book.
