47's tattoo does get mentioned by NPC's across the series when you've been spotted/compromised, and they're giving your description out. The real reason nobody says anything about it normally is because, well, would YOU walk up to someone of Agent 47's stature and ask "What's with the weird tattoo?" The Hitman games don't exist in the Hitman universe, just a simple easter egg. No different than the Metro 2033 series books appearing in the Metro games, or the CCTV tape box in Bunker 2 in GoldenEye 007 featuring the box art for the VHS version of GoldenEye. Just 4th wall breaking humor.

Richard spent most of his adult life living in Aquintaine, and was also the ruler of a large portion of france. Why is it surprsing that he speaks with a French accent? English roxals were well known for their use of the French language and the amount of times they often just lived in the parts of France they ruled.

I always figured the ADAM in Bioshock needed a female component (referring to the biblical Adam and Eve), such as the female hormones or the female XX genetics to keep it stable and useful. As for Mario, either he's much shorter than normal (maybe a form of dwarfism?), or the residents of New Donk City are much taller than average.

While he wasn't technically a Norman king, it wasn't until his brother, King John, became king that England lost control of Normandy. It took hundreds of years between 11th and 14th century for English to replace Norman French as the dominant language. It is important to remember that even a French accent is likely not entirely accurate as Normandy was settled by North-Germanic speaking (i.e. Scandinavian) people who over time integrated with the local Gallo-Romance speaking (i.e. French) population to create a new Norman dialect that, while intelligible with French when written, was especially distinct when spoken.

Yes, probably the excuse was for that, but apparently was a decision made since the begining, because the voice of Altair in the first game was Philip Shahbaz he is an american-iranian actor, he could do a middle eastern accent to play the character and he even did the audition with it, but was ubisoft that tell him not to

I always assumed Agent 47's anonymity was due to some sort of psychic ability. Like, it's an offshoot of the instinct power that allows him to locate his targets from afar. Up close it allows him to manipulate the perceptions of the people around him so they don't notice him/assume he's whoever he's dressed as. That honestly makes more sense than "He's just cosplaying."

47s instict ability as we see it is just a representation of the research and skill that he has as an agent, he would have studied the documents intensly and would know that basic routines of these targets. Hence why in the illusive targets mode they arent highlighted by the instinct mode, because they're people appearing at a location without much warning. As for the ability to blend in, its because he has a generic and plain looking face, add that to the way people only really look at uniforms and not faces then its easy for him to blend in

In the Fallout series, there was a common tendency for NPCs to have difficulty accepting the truth unless you had an insanely high charisma level. So, the multi-tiered persuasion hoops I had to jump through with Keiji to convince him that Kasumi is a synth just reinforced my conclusion.

The whole cosplay thing for agent 47 is really stupid, especially when people end up being killed or having "accidents" tend to happen a lot more around the guy with the barcode on his head, especially if it's on the news and having a game about agent 47 is just giving away his stealth, because in reality if you saw that guy walk into a party or your mansion you'd want him gone watched or arrested.

I feel like the relationship between Mono and Wander is much more dark than we’d first assume. I’m pretty sure that he’s actually taken her from wherever she was. Maybe she was someone he loved from afar, fell ill, and Wander took her from her caretakers to the temple in an attempt to not only heal her from whatever was ailing her, but also to keep her for himself. Like some kind of captive bride. I can’t think of any other reason that they’d be pursued by a band of knights other than they’ve been tasked with assuring her safety and bringing her home.
