A lot of the Bayonetta questions could be answered tbh The child is Bayonetta, brought to the present day by her father so adult Bayonetta could regain her memories and become the other Eye. Jeanne worked for the Baldur because she was brainwashed (her fear and anger of Bayonetta's power helped them take control of her mind). Bayonetta is hunted by angels because her job is to kill angels due to her pact with her respective demon (all Umbran Witches do this), so of course they want to kill her in return.

Mostly accurate though it's heavily implied Cereza is a different timeline Bayonetta, which appears to be further reinforced by her being the star of Bayonetta 3. The trailers for 3 show a Bayonetta with Cereza's hair, the chunkier glasses and nowhere near as stick thin as the original Bayonetta as well as using different move sets.

Bay meeting her younger self changes her entirely. Bay gives crybaby Cereza a strong role model to look up to. so young Cereza grows stronger, faster than she would have if her father had not sent her back. The story is actually not tht complicated idk why it’s even up here

The "Shane!" bit from Town With No Name, at least, I can explain. "Shane" was a 1953 western about a retired gunfighter working on a ranch with a family man, under attack from cattle barons. The rancher's son idolizes Shane, and at the end, as Shane rides off into the desert, the boy keeps calling after him "Shane come back!" Presumably whoever programmed the game knew the movie and was not a fan of the boy.

Okay, first off I like eternal sonata and Bayonetta. In eternal sonata Chopin comes to understand that the world he thinks he’s been dreaming is not a dream but very real and has come to terms of his death. As for Bayonetta, you were supposed to be talking about the ending. The ending is Bayonetta’s funeral with her friends mourning for her, then angels show up to claim her, but the whole thing was an act as Bayonetta and Jeanne spring into action. Makes sense to me.

Yes. This. Eternal sonata was beautiful, but it was about coming to terms with his death and how his influence would carry on long after he was gone. All those questions about Bayonetta are answered in the actual goddamn ending. Now Bayonetta 2, that gets a bit more confusing. I can't wait for 3 though!

6:15 Resonance Of Fate is a great game. I could care less about the story & the ending. It's the main characters (Zephyr, Leanne & Vashyron) & the gameplay that makes the game great. The 3 characters are so iconic that they returned in Project X Zone 1 & 2.

I'd like to add the original ending to the first Borderlands because on a personal level I went through the entirety of the game thinking that I was going to get a massive amount of loot from the vault & at the end of killing the Destroyer & I got nothing. I was so confused because the exposition at the end from Angel made it even more confusing. At least until the sequel came out & then it made sense, but there was no guarantee that was going to happen

I have no idea what Jules' motivations are, so I can only speak for myself- it's because I've so often beaten up on myself and hated myself, and suffered a lot of pain. So when I create content I don't want others to feel the pain I've felt. I suspect, sadly, the same might be true of Jules.

Eternal Sonata (JPN: Trusty Bell) was basically Chopin accepting his death. He was repeatedly seeing the dream loop over and over (ending with Polka committing suicide). She would then be reborn and the dream repeated because Chopin was still not accepting he was dying - the naming of the flower was the symbol of that acceptance. Chopin had the choice to name the flower Deathlights or Heaven's Mirrors. If he chose Deathlights, Polka would die and be reborn to restart the cycle. By choosing Heaven's Mirror, Polka was saved from death and brought back fully healed, along with her world. Now at peace, Chopin died and left the human world at 2:30am (his real life death time). Polka pretty much is the reincarnation/memory of his late younger sister Emilia, so Chopin was reunited with Polka/Emilia.

"Shane" is a classic western from the 1950s. It was seen in the background of 2017s Logan and is where the little girl Laura got the eulogy from. So the joke in "The Town With No Name" with the little boy yelling "come back Shane", is actually funny as hell, shooting the kid and the response from the player character is half absurdist humor and half reference to the film "Once Upon A Time In The West" where veteran good guy actor Peter Fonda introduces himself as the bad guy by killing a kid as his first action on screen. The ending with the train in space is just full absurdist comedy and wasn't meant to be understood as there is no meaning. All in all, The Town With No Name is made by uber fans of westerns for uber fans of westerns. My explanation my not make these jokes seem funny but most were gutbusters when I first saw them simply because I understood the jokes.

The Town With No Name deserves a bit more recognition. I love that it made the top of the list. I watched AVGN's review, and I had a hard time wrapping my brain around the idea that it is real. Not to mention, the game is a gold mine for stupidly brilliant KZbin clips.

Here's a thought for Resonance of Fate: what if the pollution was caused by the AI? Pollution kills, it controls life, so seeing three people resist means it's lost control. If they die, more will come, so it realizes people are fighting for their world again, surrendering their fate back into their own hands. Their acts is the resonance of fate, a fate of resistance, survival, and overcoming the odds. Just an idea. As for Bayonetta, ahem... The eye is a relic of incredible power that uses the power of light and dark, Bayonetta is hunted as she is both light and dark this able to use these world ending gems, the child is Bayonetta as a child and is used by Father to bring back her memories so to unlock the eye she possesses (in her amulet hidden away during the death of the two clans), other witches hate the evil the eyes can cause but Bayonetta is an evil in their eyes so they hate her, Jeanne was her friend all along and is merely trying to make her remember who she is as she knows she's being used, and Father knows all this as he's her father who was possessed by a god in his youth and corrupted (which is all explained in the ending of 2, turns out he was a good guy and dies with the god inside of him). Whew! Don't think I missed anything...
