We have something similar in Germany to the dish soap called Handwaschpaste, but it's only for heavy dirt or pollution

Deeper bathroom (in houses on the ground) means higher safety in case the water comes back from the canal or you have a water leakage. There are areas in Germany where those architecture decisions have been quite the same but just 80 years ago or so. Since then things have improved and this is no more used. And you might have also missed that germany has earthquakes too in some regions especially in the south like Baden Württemberg. Had one during a night level 3 on richter scale during night and only the thing I can remember was a feeling that a heavy 40 to truck crashed into our house but there was no such damage if I went downstairs to check for the damage. Next morning the news explained what had happened. So be prepared that it can happen at least most likely in the south west. No damage at all cause houses are built quite well and of cause with a high margin of safety - which you will learn about once you build your own home and get all the calculations how much snow, frozen water or solar panels a roof can take or better must take in germany, same for wind loads of the roof and tiles. We had not even a scrach in the walls even though I awoke with a feeling a truck must have crashed into the edge of our house even though we lived in a 30 km/h zone on a flat street without any truck traffic cause trucks were forbidden there.

Hey there! I had been thinking of announcing it in a video, but haven't yet (probably won't)... however, I've always been on the fence about showing my children. My rule typically was, from a distance or if it's something they won't hate me for later, then it's okay every now and again. Although since my Facebook account was hacked earlier this year and I lost a lot not just with my business but also personally (including photos of my children), I've since realized that it's simply not worth it. Every now and again when they're further away from the Camera or walking from behind, I will share a bit into our lives, but for the most part, I'm going to try and keep them away from the spotlight until they're old enough to make their own decisions 💛
