I met Vader and Yokozuna. Both were heel at the time and the nicest people you could meet. Vader let me hold his Superbowl ring and Yoko let me hold his belt. Hogan pretty much blew me and my cousin off. Warrior had time for us though. I'll never forget that.

Vader is a literal scholar and a gentleman. Him and Murdoch, also on this list, are two of my fondest meetings as a small child. As you said, Hogan and I can add Warrior and Savage to this list, were just primadonna jerkoffs too busy to give a minute. Vader just took his in ring persona very seriously. Jake "The Snake" Roberts is the ultimate definition of a redemption and success story. He came from hell itself in multiple respects, was in constant pain and anguish for the first 5+ decades of his life, eventually came back from it all, and is now much happier and healthier, and is known as, and will be remembered, as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time.

Jake and Scott Hall both had reached the point where they were lost causes. I constantly braced for the announcement that either was found dead in a gutter somewhere. Then Dallas Page happened. Jake Roberts taking up wrestling just so he can prove to his dad who kept on telling him he won't amount to anything and years later, proving his father wrong, is something to look up to in that man's life. Jake's primary motivation may come from a negative perspective but he was able to turn it into something positive and he did become one of the most famous wrestlers within the industry. Just one of his two biggest accomplishments in life, one being him winning against his inner demons. Truly a miracle.

My brother's nickname as a kid was Jake the Snake. My dad started the nickname around 2007. We called him this because he always seemed to get out of our grasp when we were playing tag or wrestling. My dad once said that the name came from a wrestler. If my dad a Spanish speaking man who only watches sports and the discovery channel and even worked 16 hour shifts at the time knew about Jake the Snake then I say Jake most definitely succeeded in his goal.

FAIR WARNING: In order to get this video passed the copyright bots and to get it monetised, some censorship had to be done (i.e footage altering and certain trigger words removed. Yes, KZbin support told me which words needed to be removed). Please understand I don't _like_ censoring my videos, but KZbin makes the rules and I have to abide by them. I realised that there are a couple of errors late in the video. In my sleep deprived state, it would seem a missed a couple of things. Being rebellious to a system that would protect its nearest and dearest no matter what, I’d have to feel safe in the knowledge that you’re not necessarily as bad as people think you are, when they can be so closely manipulated in plain-view. It’s hard to trust in your views, but I believe Johnny’s youthful exuberance was kind to an artistically arrogant world in itself. I love the fact that Johnny Rotten called out Jimmy Saville way back in the 1970s. What is a disgrace is the fact that Johnny was treated with such disdain by authorities, yet they knew exactly what kind of person (and I use the term lightly) Jimmy Saville was. The fact that EVERYONE knew what he was doing, and that they did NOTHING to protect the victims and potential victims is an absolute disgrace. I hope those that were in the know can't sleep at night, and have nightmares about what was done to those girls. Jake the snake Roberts was my all-time favorite wrestler, and to know what he and his siblings went through at the hands of their father is absolutely heartbreaking. He was such a beautiful man, and all he ever wanted was his father's love and approval. I nearly choked on my food when I heard his dad say, "I love my son, and he was born out of love"! No, dude! I believe one wrestler was missed on this list and that is Jose Gonzales, the wrestler who stabbed and killed Bruiser Brody in the locker room at a wrestling event in Puerto Rico. He was charges with the murder but luckily acquitted because no witnesses, such as Tony Atlas, showed up at his trial. I believe Atlas claimed that he never received notification to appear as a witness at Gonzales' trial or else he said he would've testified that Gonzales did intentionally stab and kill Bruiser Brody. He was instead acquitted because he claimed it was self-defense which was definitely not true according to several wrestlers who were there, especially Tony Atlas. So Jose Gonzales should be regarded as an evil wrestler on this list.

I knew that Jimmy Snuka, Grizzly Smith and Dynamite Kid would be in the list. But I’m honestly surprised that people, like Bob Sweetan, Jose Gonzalez and Buck Zumhoffe, aren’t in this list. I mean, the wrestlers that were included are all terrible people. But I felt that those 3 should be in there. Also, I do agree with you on Benoit. He was never always that person and everything that he experienced, like concussions, multiple back and neck injuries, steroid abuse and the death of his friend, Eddie Guerrero, would have caused his mind to black out and snap which he had no control over.

Kudos for giving that unpopular opinion about Chris Benoit. I believe the very same thing. Why would an evil murderer put Bibles next to his wife and child after they died. I agree, in a moment of clarity, he saw what he did, placed the Bibles, and ended his life, not being able to live with what he had done. That was a tragedy for all three of them in my opinion. I pointed it out to my parents back then and said he was hurting those kids and they're scared of him. They told me I was being stupid, he's not hurting them they're just scared of the cameras and nervous to be on TV. I said there's no way it's the TV nerves causing the scared look on their faces, but again just told I was being stupid and he can't be hurting them, it's not possible. Was another 30 years until the truth behind those kids expressions finally came out. I am a massive wrestling fan and I have to say you have done a brilliant job with this list, a lot of people on here I didn't know about and it was great to see a list tackle this topic that shed light onto new people who deserve to be mentioned for their awful actions. On a note to non-wrestling fans, I know it may be seen as weird to have seen people in the live chat praise guys, especially Dynamite Kid & Chris Benoit (despite not being on the list), during the video despite their actions but this is normal. Despite what they both did, it is really hard to just do away with their legacies as without them we probably wouldn't have cruiserweight wrestlers breaking down the barriers of the midcard and going on to be world champions. Some of the most successful wrestlers today like Daniel Bryan, Kenny Omega, AJ Styles etc. owe some of their success to Kid & Benoit (as well as others such as the late Eddie Guerrero & The Hart Family) for breaking down these barriers that you don't have to be a hulking mass of a man to make it in the industry and despite with both men did, you simply can't ignore that much as how we shouldn't ignore their awful actions either.

I will say now hearing what Dynamite was like. He was SO MUCH WORSE than Benoit. I don't think Chris was an evil guy, I think unlike the number 2 spot on this list, he legit blacked out in rage and with severe CTE, he definitely didn't remember much of what he did. And once that he realized what he had done, he couldn't live with himself anymore. That's not evil, that is tragic.

It's quite possible. If he was local to the Kings Cross Station area where Savile kept his caravan, or any of the other places he'd regularly take it. My grandpa made official complaints to both the met police and the British Transport Police, but all that happened was they moved Savile on. It was open knowledge he was protected, my Grandpa worked on the mail trains and was an amateur boxer at the time and he was warned not to take the law into his own hands after spitting on Savile when he tried to talk to him, as Savile made a complaint to the police about it. So at one point there was paperwork of complaints about Savile taking underage girls back to that caravan, despite what Operation Yewtree reckons in their final report. There are some retired coppers who still don't have the balls to speak up and tell the truth, unsurprisingly. Consummate arse coverer's by nature, all of them.

The sad thing about Benoit and the Dynamite Kid is how much their lives mirrored each other. Benoit was inspired to be a wrestler by the Dynamite Kid. The ironic thing is both had severe head trauma throughout their careers that led to thie horrific mental and physical issues. Dynamite was a piece of crap to everyone, especially to his family, but Benoit was the polar opposite and loved by everyone. Their ends were so sad.

@PlaguedMomma Yes. His legacy is forever tarnished because of what he did in his personal life. I like to enjoy the work but revile the man in cases like Benoit's. His matches were amazing and he took risks to give us all a good show. I do think we need to also temper our hate of him when it came out that his mind was like Swiss cheese due to all the head trauma he took throughout his career and was not fully in his right mind.

@PlaguedMomma Listen. I never said that I ignore what he did. It kills me that he murdered his family. I was a fan of Benoit well before he got to WWE. I remember the matches he had in ECW and WCW, and how amazing they could be. I was as shocked as anyone that he murdered his family and then taking his own life. I never once condoned that. I do say that in the last years of his life that all the chair shots and flying headbutts he did in his career along with the steroids he took to try to appease McMahon by getting bigger made him completely unstable. And when Eddie Guerrero died suddenly, this became his mental breaking point. He chose to do what he did, no question. But he was not in his right mind. I remember his highs, but I still hate what he did.

Regardless I appreciate your content and your sharing it with us in addition to the level of detail and description of the cases! I am definitely, while not 300% in-line with your reasons for the Benoit tragedy, understanding more than most I feel. As I know first hand how bad mental and ego corrosion can be due to severe brain trauma and degradation apart from the acts sought out by the very sames own minds. It is just as shocking and tragic as the final result but without even a quarter of the coverage or even most meager and scantest of mentions or otherwise lip service! Thanks again, take care!
