How do I apply for one of the script writing jobs? Karl mentioned that people could apply in the video, but didn't say how. There isn't a email or link in the description. Nor are there any contact information on the channels youtube homepage.

I live in an older house (118 years old). We bought it back in 2018 when the internet was into stories of people living in other peoples’ houses unnoticed. I started joking about “closet grandma” before we even moved in. Aside from the normal missing things turning up which is 99.9% surely just ADHD things we had two things I couldn’t explain. Once my daughter ran out the front door to the car faster than I can keep up. I was worried the storm door would swing closed on her heel but the door held open for just long enough for her to get through. I thought it was going to be super windy outside but it was dead still. It never held open like that again. The second was we were all playing Pictionary and talking about how annoying it was we couldn’t find the subject cards. I looked down to grab a card and there were a few sticking up from the middle of the box, all subject cards. I just say we’re lightly haunted by a grandma now.

6:30 Sounds like a terrible story for a murder coverup. “Where’d that blood on the floor come from?” “Boy, do I have a story for you. So, I was just sitting there, minding my own business, when out of nowhere a log started floating in the fireplace. So, I did the most logical thing I could think of and I shot it, then the log bled on the floor, hence the blood on the floor.” “Whoa, have you told your wife about this?” “Uh, well, no actually. See, uh, she actually moved out the day before yesterday. She said she was going to Spain, or something? Yeah, strange. Anyway…”

I have stayed in the Lemp Mansion. I had hand prints on my back not from my fiancé at the time. Slept in the Elsa Suite on the top floor. Doors were kicked all night. 3 other groups left in the middle of the night. No staff stays after 2am when the bar closes and you are free to roam the house other than the kitchen. Properly creepy.
@debbylou572910 ай бұрын
So, who were you with? Just saying ‘not my fiancé’ opens all kinds of questions. If my fiancé wasn’t in the room at the time, I’d go with ‘ghosts’ as well
@jasonhackworth350210 ай бұрын
It was just us two in the room at the time lol. Should have added that context.

That sucks that you're having trouble with writers. I've seen a couple of videos you've written for this channel and you're doing a fantastic job of it for both. Why not do both? And hopefully get paid💰 for both jobs of course!

Our House museum in Gallipolis, OH. It's a tavern and inn built in 1819. It's supposedly haunted by its original owner Henry Cushing. They had a group of school kids visiting so my friend and I got a tour for free because the small staff was already occupied. They had all the kids upstairs in the ballroom and were telling them about the ghost. Right at the same time my friend and I started climbing the staircase. The kids heard us began to panic. "IS THAT THE GHOST?!" The relief on the children's faces when they saw us.😂

The Mark Twain house that you discussed is located in Hartford, CT. If you review the map you put in the video, the dot representing the house is in Connecticut, not New York. Twain had a summer house in Elmira, NY, but that isn't the house you featured.

Karl: you may want to Google Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd (a double cousin of mine, many generations removed, of course), who died as the result of a duel in Philadelphia Alley (Charleston) in 1786. He was a doctor (Gen. Nathaniel Greene gave him a letter of recommendation when he moved to Charleston from Rhode Island) and a poet and is known for haunting the house in Church Street (still standing) where he died, whistling as he goes about his business.

Throwing shade to writers without telling us what happened or allowing the writers the opportunity to defend themselves isnt a professional approach. That being said, Karl is still a very entertaining host.

While skepticism is one thing (most might be open to actual evidence and information), I'm generally annoyed with _closed-minded_ people, those who mistakenly declare with their Out Loud voice, "There's no such thing as ghosts." A more _accurate_ statement would be: "I personally have never had a paranormal experience... yet..."

Whaley House was built on execution grounds. The daughter would have been fine with the divorce, but it was a stigma in those days ans she became ostricized by the entire town when she came home without her new husband who had conned her and taken all her posessions including her dowry.
