See more Pryor and Henderson in the backfield together. More tight end use also. Pryor is fast. Use him on sweeps and do more slants/side line throws to Olave idk why he's being underutilized... Ok game but as the year progress that offense should rely on that run game still. Easy throws and Wilson n Olave deep balls. Kid looks less shaky than Stroud

Our defense was playing more aggressively and actually tackling. That’s reason number one why I’m impressed. @N_JAMES Master Teague is a 4.3 guy in the 40, he just does not have wiggle and is not very quick. He runs hard to contact. The other 3 backs, Henderson, Williams and even Pryor bring more elusiveness to the table. Big fan of Teague though, he seems like a great young man, well they all do in the RB room.

Strouds problem wasn't his lack of talent but his lack of consistency. They can't have a QB who misses his targets as often as Stroud did. They also can't have a QB that gets rattled in the pocket the way Stroud did.

Yes. This is just Akron. But a championship caliber team should be beating a team like Akron like this. The offense looked much better under McCord. More energy, more consistency and you can tell they believe in McCord more. Huge steps ahead for an offense that's packed with stars and had been stumbling along. I'm convinced if the offense played like this vs Oregon they would have beat them. As for the defense. Well we'll see if this was just one game against a team like Akron or if they really did make improvements.

Just to let people know, Akron is horrid. They made Bo Nix look good. He threw for 275 and 3 TDs completing 91% of his passes for 12.5 ypa. Since then; 53% 108 yards 6.4 ypa 2 TD vs FCS Alabama St 57% 185 yards 5.0 ypa vs Penn St 48% 156 yards 5.8 ypa vs Georgia St Akron made Auburn look dominant.

@@Breezydamenace both have weak schedules even if they win out the Oregon loss shouldn’t hurt us especially with 3 top 25 wins in Michigan, Michigan state, penn state and another in the big ten championship. That would make us 4-1 vs top 25 opponents and Oregon and OU 1-0 they have no strength of opponent to put them ahead of us in that scenario would be ignorant especially in us proving that we aren’t the same team that lost to Oregon with a banged up starting quarterback and 5 defensive starters out. And btw OU technically has 2 left but they got upset so they won’t be in the rankings come Monday or Tuesday, also OU almost lost to Nebraska, Tulane and West Virginia all unranked opponents.

@@TheFatherof2 I think a lot depends on how Michigan, Michigan State and the rest of their scheduled teams do the rest of the season. If Michigan loses two games before playing OSU then beating them won't mean much.

Only thing Ohio State has going for em this year is that every team in the B10 is horrible except for maybe Iowa, if Ohio State sneaks in to the four man playoff they will get boat raced by Bama, Georgia or Ark. They really need to expand the playoffs man, I would much rather see a group of 5 team like cinicinatti make it this year instead of the overrated winner of the Pac 12, B10 or B12....ACC is already elminitated from convo...It will be two SEC teams and two overrated conference champs that will get smoked, contiuing the trend of the last two years
