It took me the first two items in this video to realize what's wrong with the music. Sir, the way you concealed the actual music in such a subtle way while preserving enough character for us to recognize the original, is truly genius. Very encouraging in the times of new fascism that we live in.

I was going through the Chairman Dances score and seeing how the flutes managed to play in combination a sound neither could have sustained individually but sounded like a single instrument so it's great to see how you use them here in the Adams bit.

@@MattiaChiappa David Bruce's KZbin channel has a couple of very interesting videos on Adams' orchestration worth a look and covers this too. It';s what mad eye get the score out to look it over. That whole idea that what you THINK you're hearing is a carefully crafted product of orchestration and when it's broken down, each instrument isn't playing quite what you think it is. It goes back much further than Adams but it canned the way I thought about orchestration as a whole. Coming to it as a listener is not the same as how the composer crafts what you you're actually listening to. anyway, I've loved this series of videos and watch them frequently. Terrific stuff.

Hey Mattia! A question regarding Smetana’s “Moldau” (Vltava). Is this your arrangement of main theme? I know the piece quite well and the main motif is bit different. You ve done a great job, i really like it!
@MattiaChiappa

Hi thanks, I’m not necessarily trying to copy my references. I’m taking the essence of what it makes it sound the way it does and adapt it to the main theme I used through the series.
