This took FAR longer to get done than it should have. But here it is, a list for the Nintendo 3DS. If you have your own list share them in a comment below or even make a video, that'd be neat. Enjoy. :) #nintendo3DS, #PersonalList,

Nice to see another list. Most of the usual uspects as expected are here, and they do deserve it, but I have a few different picks I'd say in my Top 10: - Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate: Shockingly good online, impressive visuals on the system and the ever satisfying combat mixed with increased verticality, new weapons and monsters and the wild Frenzy Virus system made this a ton of fun, both solo and online with friends. - Animal Crossing New Leaf: The BEST Animal Crossing, so much stuff to do, places to go and visit, people to play with, and items to collect and sell - Ever Oasis: A VERY underappreciated title late in the systems lifespan from Grezzo (3DS Zelda remake guys and co-developers of Echoes of Wisdom) that mixes Zelda dungeon crawling with Animal Crossing esque town building all with a pretty Egyptian flair - Bravely Second: End Layer: My favorite non-remake on the system. Bravely Default is a great JRPG but suffers from some severe pacing slowness around the middle, while Second goes hard on streamlining it, cutting down on grinding and adding some truly insane and often silly new job classes to play around with that are some of the most fun to experiment with. Its less serious of a story than Default, and the script is a lot goofier, but that just makes me like it more. - Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure: Sega's favorite game to ignore, an early system title that excels at creative and interesting rhythm games with a fun story and cast. Only downside was the motion control parts.

This is a surprise! I thought you were gonna do more of your Radar videos but I'm happy to see you FINALLY do your 3DS list and man was that really good & yeah I say for sure, Kid Icarus Uprising is my favorite 3DS game, it's without a doubt Sakurai's best game he was involved with considering it did EVERYTHING you could do for a video game which is why I hope he gets to do more unique games instead of being contractually obligated to be involved with Smash

God, the 3DS was so special. I remember playing Smash for 3DS on the bus ride to school pretty much every day, way more than the Wii U version infact. I also remember loving Pilotwings Resort quite a lot, playing Multiplayer in Sonic Generations 3DS, my first exposure to Kirby being Triple Deluxe, playing races over and over again to unlock the B-Dasher in Mario Kart 7, camping out at Target waiting for Majoras Mask 3D to release, so many memories. Two of my personal favorite 3DS games are actually ones that aren't talked about much, Order Up!!, an enhanced port of the Wii Game, and Crush 3D, a puzzle game with mechanics similar to Super Paper Mario, where you crush the world and made it flat (or top down), and you had to collect enough Marbles to reach the goal. Great list, I've been subscribed for 14 years and it's always nice to see you pop up in my feed.

Awesome list! While I think the DS had a stronger third-party library, I think the 3DS' first-party lineup is much better. My personal list would be: 10. Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy 9. Super Smash Bros. for 3DS 8. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon 7. Super Mario 3D Land 6. Kirby: Planet Robobot 5. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team 4. Fire Emblem: Echoes 3. Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 2. Metroid: Samus Returns 1. Kid Icarus Uprising I only picked one game per franchise, not counting Mario spin-offs. If I didn't limit myself I would have had more Zelda and Fire Emblem games included.

Nice to hear your personal choices! And great to give those final regards to a legendary console and its legendary lineup. Here are my (rough) personal choices: Hon. Mentions: Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions - While it's a remake, I never played the original and highly enjoyed the gameplay and "the one that started it all"! The side mode was alright too. Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure - A hidden little gem, it was a nice and neat rhythm game experience in an overall small package. 10. Mario Kart 7 - An excellent title overall with enhanced gameplay, although cutting back in scale in some manners (like character roster). But kart customization was definitely a highlight here, and nice to see old karts returning too! 9. Kirby Planet Robobot - My first foray into a Kirby game after I was hooked on Kirby Superstar Ultra as a kid, I skipped Triple Deluxe as it seemed "normal" but this one had so many great mechanics as you described. While it felt a bit like it was falling into the trope where each level relies on one copy ability, it did it well as each level still felt fleshed out. And what a legendary final boss fight! 8. Pokemon X - While others were more dismayed by Pokemon's jump to 3D, I overall highly enjoyed the game and it felt so fresh. Interacting with background elements during battles, using Mega Evolution, Pokemon Amie, Super Training; now this is a Pokemon game that still had heart to it. 7. Mario Golf: World Tour - Now THIS game was a love letter from Camelot to their fans! While Mario Tennis Open was a bit more rushed out to the open for sales, World Tour took its sweet time in development and delivered. Excellent gameplay refined from Toadstool Tour, a nice little solo campaign using your Mii, neat gimmick mechanics such as coins and items, fun Mario courses referencing other games (like Wiggler Park's Galaxy music and Peach Gardens referencing Mario Kart DS), meaty DLC that remade the N64 game's golf courses entirely, and an excellent roster pulling from "Camelot-loyal" choices (Birdo, Paratroopa, and Toad as examples) as well as adding in fan favourites (Toadette, Nabbit, and Rosalina by DLC). 6. Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS - This was such a revolutionary moment to witness the coming of the next Smash installment. Playing it on the 3DS demo was like playing it early, and then playing the actual game was just so much fun. Smash Run, a streamlined Classic mode, and the best part of getting to bring it to school and play with some classmates are some excellent memories. 5. Rhythm Heaven Megamix - I'd never played a Rhythm Heaven before, but playing this swansong of the series made me fall in love with it! It pulled minigames from throughout the series and introduced new ones, and I just adore it so much. I tried to complete all the Rhythm Train medleys and almost got all the Perfects (curse you, Lockstep!) It's too bad this could be the final installment of the series, but I'm always hoping for a new one! 4. Pokemon Alpha Sapphire - Now this may have well been the pinnacle of Pokemon. It took many of the great elements introduced in Pokemon X and combined it with a fresh coat of new paint on the entire Hoenn region, crafting an entirely new take on the story and truly calling itself a remake, rather than just reliving the original game with a new look. Adding in Mega Evolutions, slightly adjusting the story and the summoning of the Legendary Pokemon, the awesome and relaxing experience that was Soaring, the return of Contests, and being the game to confirm that the Mega Timeline is separate from the original timeline (and confirming that multiple timelines exist within the Pokemon universe itself) - now this was truly awesome. 3. Tomodachi Life - While I was originally caught by surprise when the Tomodachi Life Direct started playing on the Nintendo Direct website, which I was revisiting in order to rewatch the Super Smash Bros. Direct, the game's quirkiness got me and I could no longer turn back. After getting the game, I put all my friends and family into it and the rest is history. This one holds a great personal connection to me as I posted screenshots of the quirky happenings between my friends to social media and tagged them all, and it was definitely a neat way to bond further and just add shenanigans to our lives XD So it will always hold a special place to me and I still hope for a sequel! 2. StreetPass Mii Plaza - This was truly the highlight of the 3DS itself. StreetPass was such a fun concept and being able to use passersby's abilities in the games was unique. Tough when you need certain abilities, but not impossible. It again holds a special place to me as I was able to StreetPass schoolmates back in the day and we got to know each other through StreetPass, before even meeting each other face-to-face lol And the overall fun callbacks to Nintendo history through costumes was also great to see. 1. Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Now this is just one of the highlights of the entire library. Here is an installment that kept everything excellent about the series, but kept building on it with new content and a breath of fresh air. Somehow, it seems like this game was able to take all of the content from City Folk (which was rather too similar to Wild World) and add even more, which seems wild to say a 3DS game could be bigger than a Wii game. And then, the way it revolutionized the series by adding in the mayor mechanics, furniture additions, new villager personalities, even more ways to dress up and customize your character, the return of the train and plaza area, and this was truly the next evolution of the series, which the same cannot be said for many other Nintendo series on the 3DS (*cough* Mario games *cough*). And of course, it holds a special place in my heart, I poured over 500 hours into the game and it helped me get through stressful school times too, by allowing myself that one hour a day to play Animal Crossing and relax, before doing my homework or other chores. And of course, the Dream Address system was so great too, as it allowed me to check out the homes of my friends that I StreetPassed, and again gave us more bonding moments. And while New Horizons added many new mechanics and ideas, New Leaf still stands as the most comprehensive Animal Crossing package to me.

They may come once in a blue moon, but your videos are always a joy to watch! Figured I'd share some thoughts I have as well Surprised that I forgot that the 3DS had so many remakes, even to the end with the Bowser's Inside Story remake (which I have but it definitely should've been made for the Switch, RIP Alphadream). Also I better get Dream Team, I remember getting that same special edition 3DS but I somehow lost it and haven't seen it since... Rather surprised that WarioWare Gold wasn't brought up as an honorable mention at least due to it arguably being the most expansive entry in the series (i.e. character designs and voice acting). SSBU not having Smash Run feels really weird in retrospect, even though it made more sense on the 3DS due to everyone having their own screen on their respective 3DS model I dunno how to close out but maybe a video based around horror game chase themes would be cool, that and/or songs that make you go "Oh crap, I gotta get out of this place before it gets destroyed!" like the NES Metroid music after defeating Mother Brain; Figured I'd give this idea since Halloween is right around the corner.

Nice video. I tested every single free demo from the (EU) eshop shortly before the shutdown and found that the AiRace games were a pretty good use of the 3D, even if they were only time trail games. Sadly they were only digital releases so the only way to get them is to find a console that already has it (or use questionable means). Oh yeah and I've said this before but RIP Bomberman 3DS

Number 2: Many are wanting that series to return again. I do suggest looking up a youtube channel called: Zelda Universe: while they do all things Zelda they have one section dedicated to Kid Icarus, specifically what if Hades gave bad advice on Smash bros. Heck there are small intros before the skit of Hades, Pit, Palutena, Viridi, and others playing Mario Party and Among Us.

I may not have a 3DS but I know of another amazing title: Wait for it... *SUPER MARIO 3D LAND!!!* To be honest it kicked off a new Mario series, that really took 2D and 3D and put them together to make a 3D Mario game that still gets you to Point A to Point B to save Peach *again.* The sequel 3D World improved on this with more playable characters, including Peach and even Rosalina, but this is still the title that started strong and is still the big thumbs up today.

To clarify a bit on the whole Nobody thing. The retcon wasn't that Nobody had hearts the whole time, it's still true that when a Nobody is born they don't have hearts as the they are still literally the "body' the heart left behind when they're turned into heartless. However, a Nobody will grow a new heart to replace the old heart in time. Basically, Nobodies can grow hearts but they don't start out with one. There still some issues with it but the only questions it raised for me was "Does the new heart make them a different person from the original" because isn't true that human Nobodies retain their originals memories, and what value does restoring the original really have if Nobody will eventually become them anyways?

The reason Kingdom Hearts is so complicated is that Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi thinks the game wouldn't do well unless the story was as epic as a Final Fantasy story. He also hates sequels. So giving Kingdom Hearts a complex story and multiple sequels doesn't mix very well???
@toonzach287012 сағат бұрын
The thing is Sakaguchi's involvement with the franchise past the first game is basically non-existent. Even for the first game I don't think his role went any further than advisor, and since he left Square in 2003, it's unlikely that he had any further involvement in KH even if we're just considering Chain of Memories. It's always been Nomura's baby first and foremost.
