Looking forward for Marvel Vs Capcom 2 because Marvel Vs Capcom 2 is like Super Smash Bro Melee. Both are Popular, loved by Many, and been in many E-Sports.

Being an RPG fan, this direct was right up my alley. Most excited for the Dragon Quest III HD-2D remake as well as Mario and Luigi Brothership. I’m interested in the new 2D Zelda game but apprehensive on picking it up right away due to the change in gameplay from action combat to a summoning/puzzle-based one. Overall an excellent Direct! Also, 1:01 😂.

Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is the big one for me here. It feels like ALttP infused with Scribblenauts and Lost Kingdoms. Sign me up for sure! Super Mario Party Jamboree is another one I'm likely to get as well, but unfortunately, I have to contend with the curse of not having anyone to play this with because A) I don't play enough anymore to warrant getting NSO, and B) I rarely get to play any games in-person with my cousins. Sigh... I actually am happy about Spike returning, though. He might be my main this time around instead of Waluigi, if only so I can make Fishy Boopkins jokes. While it's not all that exciting, it is still noteworthy that "Donkey Kong Country Returns.... well, RETURNS!". As for Mario & Luigi: Brothership, I'll consider getting that on one condition: that M&L fans are able to behave themselves better than classic Paper Mario fans. Both the TTYD remake and _especially_ Bug Fables are tainted for me because it feels like playing them is synonymous with hating the modern PM games (and the people who enjoyed those games) more than they love the classics. I know that's not the case for everyone who plays those, but it's hard for me to disassociate that stigma given everything that's happened in the last nearly 12 years. The last thing I want is for Brothership to get caught in the crossfire as well.

First and foremost- DKC Returns HD is incredibly hype for me. Yes, it would be nice cheaper. Yes, a new game would be more exciting. Yeah, Tropical Freeze is leagues better, it’s my favorite game of all time whereas Returns ranks near the bottom for DKC games for me. However, this is something I’ve wanted for a number of reasons for a while. DKC Returns HD completes having access to the DKC games on Switch with the first three on NSO and Tropical Freeze having been an early port, which I loved having Pikmin complete on Switch, and the same is true for DKC. It also brings the 3DS levels to a home console experience rather than having them trapped on 3DS, and also gives us a home console version not held back by forced waggle. And, finally, it just felt so good to have ANYTHING DK related after so long. Again, a new game would be more exciting and Tropical Freeze is leagues better. But you have no idea how many Directs have come and gone and I went in hoping for a DK announcement to the point I started actively predicting nothing. I wanted this game because it may not be the best, but it’s still a great entry and I’m just so happy to have it on Switch. There’s also Mario and Luigi, which looks beautiful and was a major shock they released three Mario RPGs within a year, especially with how uncertain Mario and Luigi’s future was given AlphaDream’s closure. Mario Party looks incredible and I absolutely want to get that ASAP. And Ace Attorney is an incredible surprise that we’re getting the Edgeworth games, including a never before localized Investigations 2! I love when these games formerly lost to time get a second chance at life. I know DKC Returns HD isn’t the most popular game from the Direct, but it made me incredibly happy. And it’s one case where I don’t care the price, I wanted this, so I’m getting it the second I can. And it just gives me hope that DK’s getting a new game on Switch’s successor and this is just a stop gap. I feel very optimistic right now for DK’s future.

The switch's last year has more games than the PS5....which is supposed to be in it's prime. That's a bit concerning.

This direct actually got quite the reaction from me, and I'm still interested in seeing people's reactions to it. For my money, the most hype announcements were Mario and Luigi Brotherhood, Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (and for that matter, ONLINE Co-op in Four Swords), Metroid Prime 4 was a long time coming, and also MIO: Memories in Orbit looks cool. That said, I would've liked to play as DAISY in the Mickey Mouse Illusion Island update.

Im revealed theres no big releases this summer giving me plenty of time to finish Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance. My hertical ass is happy as god is dead, the devil is in retirement never thinking he'd get this far and now ive got to make an inferal army to slay any pretenders to the throne and claim it for myself only thing left to decide is what world i want to create. Also Dragon Quest 1,2 and 3 are very short compared to modern rpgs

I thought it was a good direct my favorite part was Mario and Luigi I also hope we get conker on switch and other rare games like diddy Kong racing DK 64 and banjo rookie I still hope Nintendo well bring back wind waker and twilight princess hd but other then that good direct

I just realized what they're doing with Metroid Prime 4. Remember when they revealed the switch and kept using BotW footage in the reveal? They had hyped that game for a long time, so those videos kept the focus on the hardware. That's why MP4 is definitely a Switch 2 game, though maybe not an exclusive, they did both have extremely long developments.

Mario & Luigi: Only really played most of Superstar Saga, but I'm looking forward to this one. Mio: I'm keeping an eye on this; artsy games are hit or miss for me, so we'll see. Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D: I practically fell in love with Dragon Quest after playing 11 for the first time, and not counting spinoffs, this will be my second main DQ game. Not sure about 1+2, though. NSO GBA update: Already finished Zero Mission. Good stuff. Super Mario Party Jamboree: Mario Party has become my family's "get-together game," and this looks amazing. Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom: Just being a Zelda game would pique my interest. Having Zelda as the main character absolutely sold it. Ace Attorney: Investigations: Day one, no questions asked. I've intentionally avoided spoilers for the sequel just on the off-chance it was ever localized, and the Great Ace Attorney release only strengthened my belief that it would.

The Funko game honestly gave me Lego Dimensions vibes (may it rest in peace).

I personally thought the Nintendo Direct was mid at best in terms of actual Nintendo content, but the Nintendo stuff that was announced was excellent for the most part, Metroid Prime 4 especially. Also jokes on me for actually thinking Nintendo would make the logical play and give us Mario Baseball on Switch over yet another Mario Party. All the more reason why Superstars was done so damn dirty, and why Mario Baseball deserves so much better.

Don't you just love the toon-shading effects on Mario and Luigi for their new RPG together? Well it is CERTAINLY new to me. And I'm sure Jamboree is a sequel to the first Super Mario Party after Superstars and I love it.

10:48 to be fair that's an accurate response to a Danganronpa game based on a new person's look at it. And a lot of other games too like WarioWare so idk (Also I find it funny how in the first Danganronpa game intro they literally spoil the first killer in the game)

Most of the games had something I liked no matter how small it was, but the Nintendo Switch Sports hurt... Why did they all of a sudden update NSS instead of announcing Tomodachi Life content? The chat I swear has 15 "Where is TL?" per minute and seeing NSS just rubbed salt into a wound. I wish the Miis were used more on the Switch please Nintendo give us TL with Miitopia's customization features!

This was one of their best direct Nintendo did, Mario & Luigi returning with a new game! Metroid Prime 4 not being a myth! Alongside this being the place for a Marvel vs Capcom collection of a things & I'm excited to see what the Danganronpa team can do for Hundred Line even if I really need to play Raincode first

I'm primarily looking forward to Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, Mario and Luigi: Brothership, Super Mario Party Jamboree, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and MAYBE the Switch port of Stray.

Also, in the case of Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection Arcade Classics, this is the first time any of the Marvel vs Capcom games have ever been released on a Nintendo console.

Actually unless the remakes add a lot of new content, Dragon Quest I-III shouldn’t take very long to get through, they’re about 20-30 hours each, maybe a little more for III. They were some of the earliest RPGs after all.

Games I'm looking forward to: Mario and Luigi, Zelda, Nintendo World Championships, Ace Attorney Investigations, and maybe Mario Party. Also, I think I'd rather see a physical collection of all the older Donkey Kong games (DKC 1-3, 64, DKR, and some handheld games) than any NSO stuff.

The big ones for me are Mario & Luigi, Investigations Collection, MVC Collection, Mario Party Jamboree, ans Hundred Line. But my most hyped and wanted are the Dragon Quest HD-2D games. I have been asking for these since the FF Pixel Remasters

Definitely getting Brothership, Echoes of Wisdom, SMP Jamboree, and Prime 4. The Mario and Luigi game being the one im most looking forward to. There are three other games that were shown that i might get but not sure if i will get them yet

I'm like one of 5 people who is unironically excited for Phantom Brave getting a Sequel, its honestly kinda surprising to see an NIS game that ISN'T disgaea get a sequel for a change. especially one of their older games. To Dragon Quest I-III's credit they're not NEARLY as long as XI. They're pretty short all things considered. Maybe with the new content and if you play them all back to back the time might add up, but point is that it being a time sink is much less of a concern for them.

The investigation duoligy is so on my list and I called that last year when the Apollo justice trilogy was announced.

Now Twinmold is better in the 3DS version. Tougher, maybe unfairly so, but more fun imo.

Years later, and your proposal for a 4 way war between DK and every enemy faction he's faced is still the best premise I've heard for a sequel.

I could not get into the Prime port, because I seem to be cursed with JoyCon Drift, as even the one JoyCon I bought later also has drift, and the controls don't feel right without motion controls. Which is a shame, as I loved Prime Trilogy, that I still have on my WiiU, but because of JoyCon Drift I can't enjoy the Prime port to the Switch.

We'd be pleasantly surprised if a KIU remake is announced, and moreover if it gets similar treatment to Super Mario RPG Switch which has the Timing Chain mechanic to help Bowser and Mallow along and other good things about it, but it's definitely a possibility, hence my efforts with 9.0 with a base weapon type just last night where I actually ended up doing No Damage against Great Reaper and Tanatos.

I would like a few Third Party titles to be announced or Remastered for the Switch EShop. I would LOVE if they ported The Mass Effect Trilogy to the Switch. They're my three favorite games of all time. I also would love to see Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, specifically the (in my opinion) superior Wii version. And Spider-Man for Ps4, even if graphically downgraded and a lowerframe rate, would be great if they could make it play well!
