"Interstellar Overdrive" has one of the best riffs in rock history. Thank you for doing it justice 😁 One thing I love about early Floyd riffs is how twangy they are. "Lucifer Sam" sounds really surfy compared to something like "Run Like Hell".

This list is perfect as it illustrates how the band went through all kinds of sounds. Still, I believe their best riff is "In The Flesh?". It sounds epic, impactful and overall powerful

one thing i sometimes forget about early pink floyd is how doomy some of their late 60s stuff is. the narrow way, nile song, and i'm sure there are others i cant immediately bring to mind. i know melvins and electric wizard like them; wonder if they have more of an influence on doom and stoner rock than they get credited for
