On the glute kickback that you said feels more targeted on the quads.... try moving your foot. Instead of pushing with the middle part of your foot, push with your heels. When you push with your heels it’s targeting your glutes/hamstrings whereas when you push more up with your toes, it targets your quads.

Love the videos but FYI to all those going to planet fitness they have a Qr scan box to scan with your phone and it takes you to a video to show you how to use the machines. But this is helpful because you can plan ahead of time

On the second one, I bend and lean my shoulder on the pad and put my heel on the foot bar to push. You can move foot placement to activate your side glute. Its amazing.👍

I’ve been going to planet fitness for two months already and at the beginning I was so lost didn’t know how the machines work and even though you can scan the QR code on your phone to watch a brief video on how to use them I was kinda of embarrassed to do that, cus you see everyone using them without any trouble but now I’m more familiar with a few machines that are my favorite to use and now I enjoy and love so much going to work out I still have a lot to learn so I just watch the other people working out so I can do the same thing lol when I go to try a new machine! 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️😂
