Awb is a defender, and people need to stop judging him base on attacking stats. In the right system he can be a wall so give the guy a break. You don't judge a attacker base on his tackle and interception numbers so I don't see the difference here!🤬😠

If you look at every league winning team in Europe they have full backs capable of causing problems at the other end. AWB ain’t finish but just got good enough to play in a 4 for a team aspiring to challenge for trophies

in my opinion, there's a lot of things the club can do to hide bissaka's limitations on offense. the fact his defensive ability is still very good, he isn't a waste. besides, he's a defender first. maybe they can let bissaka stay back on attack and let a midfielder drift wide overlapping the winger to do his offensive duties while he can stay in the middle as a Defensive midfielder on the attack. Or they can start him along side varane as a Center back if Maguire doesn't perform. The point is, making him push forward on the wing when we all know he isnt capable of doing the offensive duties that are expected from a full back in todays era is a terrible job that should be blamed on the coach himself and is just gonna make bissaka look bad and that brings more focus on his weaknesses than his strengths.

Exactly. He should drift into a role that walker does at City. As a organizing deep lying central midfielder. Not difficult to do simple distribution like walker does and would emphasize his ability to defend like walker. Or he could be converted into a center back. Had the physical attributes and the mind for it. Either or and he has a future at United in my opinion for the next couple of years at least

His defensive ability is equally lacking. I dont care how many tackles you win, if you have over 4 mistakes leading to goals conceded as a defender in any season you are bad. AWB has done that 2 seasons running. He is the poorest defender i've ever watched in terms of positioning. It's time to just admit AWB isnt a good player, or at least not at the level United want.

tbh.. AWB is a good fullback, but not a wingback.. If you want him to go up and down, then you probably get the wrong guy.. It all depends how you use him.. the CBs in Man Utd are the ones that needs to get out..

I don’t necessarily want Wan-Bissaka to leave as I really like him and I’ve been a supporter of him since the day he signed; but I’m not blind. I realise (sadly) that his ability simply isn’t good enough for us, and that his departure is necessary for progression under Ten Hag. I’ll be saddened if he leaves, yes, but I also realise that there are simply better right backs out there that can thrive for us.

The only thing AWB needs to improve is his passing (crosses is included in this), he can progress the ball through his dribbling which no other RB at the club has, at least to his level. Dalot seems way too defensively suspect for me but he progresses the ball well and gets himself into good positions quite alot and is usually very positive with his play always aggressively trying to get us up the pitch. Under Ten Hag i can see either one of them succeeding but if i were to pick which one to go it would be AWB and allow Brandon Williams to eventually take dalot's spot if his not gpnna be used as a LB
