On today’s video, we run through 10 of the most controversial club owners in football right now. From the Glazers at Manchester United, who have overseen a period of underachievement and baffling transfer business at the Premier League giants since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson, qualifying for the Champions League just once, to Mike Ashley, who has become a notorious figure in English football since taking over Newcastle back in 2007, these owners have all gained a reputation for one reason or another.
Also on our list is Napoli head honcho Aurelio De Laurentiis, who was once compared to Donald Trump by Spanish publication AS; the City Group, who following the acquisition of Manchester City in 2008 have gone on a mission for world domination; and Red Bull, who like City are building a global football empire. We also look at controversial Valencia owner Peter Lim, and Steve Dale, who is somehow still the owner of Bury FC.

Kiril Domuschiev - owner of Ludogorets Razgrad. In time he did prove a successful and a quite skilled businessman and such a shrewd operator as well. However, his success was supported by the sudden plummet of other companies in Bulgaria due to him offering low prices and forcing high taxes on others. The same repeated in Ludogorets' success, which was supported by gradual bankrupsy of other Bulgarian teams. The pinnacle of all was the case of CSKA Sofia - also owned by controversial owner Alexander Tomov for quite a while - being bankrupted and sent to the 3rd level in 2015 after finishing 2nd the season before. In addition Domuschiev is also a member of the Bulgarian Football Union and owns the TV that broadcasts the matches of Bulgaria's top flight. He also is a member of the Bulgarian party for European development (AKA GERB), currently in charge of the country and facing all sorts of corruption scandals. There is a lot more to say, such as match fixing, tapping up players, not investing in development of Bulgarian youth teams and bribing referees. And more, but this is a full video topic. HTC did post a video about that too. I wouldn't put him in front of Steve Dale, but definitely I'd prefer Red Bull as a boss than Kiril Domuschiev. As for Bulgarian football in total - well, imagine a league where all owners are Mike Ashley clones.

Sold The Boleyn for a nice profit to line their pockets, literally blew it up for a movie, moved us into possibly the worst football stadium in the country that we don’t even own, receive 12m a year each in interest in the loan they give the club. How anybody else can say their owners are worse then Steve dale you have not got a clue.Your clubs are all still paying football and the chairman no matter how bad you think they are still pay the players and staff.steve dale didn't put a penny in and didnt pay staff and players and continually just took money from the club accounts.got kicked out by efl due to not co-operating with them and genually asset stripped the club all our honours and trophies rotting away in a lock up in timperley on other side of Manchester.you can still watch your club Bury fans cant.
