I appreciate you for putting out this video and others like it. I learn a lot by watching them. As an inexperienced player I feel like I am at a huge disadvantage during gameplay, it is so frustrating to get new or unfamiliar maps where I don't know where to go. It is amazing how fast you can die when you take up a bad position. I wish WOT had volunteer mentors to help out new players.

I can say that pos 7 (malinovka) works great in heavytanks when your team wants to camp bush line instead of pushing, Was able to do 11k combined (8k spotting) in amx m4 54 by just countering lights/meds that push in the spot you showed and then also proxy spotting heavys that push. Amazing spot!

3:30 note that this position only works for at least moderately tall tanks, and the taller the better.

I also see more and more Light Tank players use the position on El Halluf. Not many players know that, but it can be countered from the bushes at H6 if you are having the South spawn. You can also see the enemy sniping TDs from H6. If you get spotted there, you have a rock next to you which is covering you, so the risk of playing H6 is minimal.

A crucial aspect often overlooked in the realm of online competitiveness is the quality of the internet connection. To compete at high levels, it is essential to have a fast and optimized internet line, enabling real-time visibility of opponents without any delay. Calibration and reliability of the connection are fundamental to avoid any latency that could compromise performance. Additionally, a high-performance PC is necessary to fully leverage the connection and game resources, ensuring a smooth and responsive experience. Furthermore, all this can be achieved first and foremost depending on the geographical position and the type of connection available in our country. Then, quite a bit of money is required to pay for equipment such as a gaming PC. Without these elements, even the most skilled player could find themselves at a disadvantage. Best regards.

I commend you for how awesome you are at this game. I’ve been playing for 12 years. I didn’t understand anything really for the first few years about game mechanics like, vision, crew skills, camo, etc. Almost 50k games in and I have every single t10 tank on the tech trees, I’ve killed every tank in the game at least once, have amazing crews with great skills - 4/5 deep, understand the game better than ever, etc. Still im a 48% overall winner, with a 130+ IQ and a Masters Degree. I do some of the same things in the same situations that I see community contributors do on the same maps and positions and tanks with much worse results. I chalk up my lack luster win rate to impatience and the fact that I rarely platoon. I’ve been in clans but now just prefer to game solo. It’s depressing as fuck because I feel things just don’t go well for me on a consistent basis. Things happen to me like bouncing heat ammo from high pen tds on light tanks and thin armored meds regularly. Even when I am aiming at weak spots and hitting side shots. I could under stand if it happened some of the time but it’s more often than I witness happening for other. I don’t want a fucking tutorial or got gud statement. I just wanna bitch and go back to my sad little hole on the internet. That’s all.

I have a question - where is the tank profile size in the math for camo and range spotted? Many tanks have same view range and camo, but are different in sizes. Does tank size have a factor in the being spotted equation? If so, I have not seen it. If tank A is 2x the size of tank B, and have the same stats, is tank A spotted 4 times sooner or 2 times or 1.5 times? I have not been able to figure this out. Thanks.
@iyouxin7 ай бұрын
Tank size generally influence the base camo value of a tank. So the bigger the tank the lower it's camo value usually. But other than that size is not taken into account in the calculations during the battle.
@bradyelich27457 ай бұрын
@@iyouxin My viper and bulldog both have 38% camo, but viper is lower but wider. Viper will get spotted first. Is it just the view ports cover more area? Thanks again. What about engine noise? With my bulldog at 38% camo and 500m vision and cvs, elc has a hard time against me and I beat several of them and carried my team when they complained I brought bulldog. Thanks for that video.
@iyouxin7 ай бұрын
The only values that matter for if you get spotted or not are concealment value and view range. Everything else like size and engine noise are abstracted into the concealment value.

You need at least 2 skills before you can enjoy high tier LT gameplay. Otherwise stick to lower tiers first or wait until you get crews from events/missions/etc (or just play other classes first since either way LT need you to really understand vision mechanic and map knowledge/awareness to play effectively)

Na if the game is hard to play for you currently it's because you haven't learned these spots and enemy has. This game isn't hard you just can't go into auto pilot. You must always be aware and involved. This game is a lot more like chess and a lot less like a video game. Use your pings be aware of the average view range of the tanks your most likely to be countering and the spotting mechanics in the game. I used to hate playing lights before I became aware of all the factors allowing my enemy to outplay me. Once you open yourself up to admiting your ass and need to improve and not just blame the game for being too hard, only then will you begin to improve and enjoy the game. I think lights are the highest skill gap tanks because you must become intimately familiar with not only spotting and camo mechanics but also map terrain spotting range of basically every tech tree tank and a handful of oddball prems that are just a bit op and you will find that most meds have comparable viewrange to a stock light tank when the meds are fully maxed. You will learn the roll each different light tank is excelling at and which ones aren't really a passive scout but a damage dealing ninja . AMX line auto loaders. Not a great passive scout due to camo but have great bursty guns and good mobility to peek in a bush unspotted amd deal damage and return to cover . You will learn to be a thorn in the adversaries side and the game will become very enjoyable. You will begin to challange yourself and push the limits of your favorite tanks and my friend let me just say once lights have been understood and you play them well every other class becomes much easier to play and morefun. Glhf o7 you will get it kid .
@CatNipp-v3bАй бұрын
@@7slotsorfeet almost shed a tear haha you summed up perfectly what I'm thinking but with better words! And indeed, once you become great with lights, all other classes are easier to play.

Observing your feats, it seems evident that you are a creature of WG, a puppet in their hands. Your exploits are nothing but the result of skillful manipulation, achieved with prearranged and orchestrated accounts. Dear viewers, do not be deceived: what is presented as possible for everyone is merely a splendid illusion, a deceptive staging. Everything is falsified and manipulated... ...even then... Thank you for your response. I appreciate your work, but I feel it's important to highlight the behind-the-scenes dynamics that can influence viewers' perceptions. Transparency is crucial for maintaining trust and integrity within the community. I continue to follow your work with interest.
