Actually such an underrated channel and video. Very clear and concise logicical explanation for different scenarios. Would love to see more videos similar to these. I'm ashamed to admit I can't even beat NL25 on Ignition so NL500 on Pokerstars is just too far fetched for my personal poker journey. Would love to hear a bit about live low stakes like 1/2 and 2/5 if possible!

@@Kingkia33 Hello! I've only played for a bit more than a year! Any advice for me to win at 1/1 and 2/3 live games? Also want to ask if it's weird for me to feel like that NL25 6 Max Zoom tables are so much harder than 1/1 and 2/3 live despite that its actually much lower stakes? I feel like I'm somewhat breakeven or winning small in low stakes live despite pretty high rake environment, but online I am just getting destroyed and do not know why.

25NL Zoom is no joke, there’s a lot of GTO grinders in that player pool who simply just know the game much better than you do.. I’d stay away from zoom and just play normal 6-max

Smart smart man!! Excellent content; out-of-the-box thinking rocks. Will watch all ur videos + like as my warm, yet close-to-worthless, way to thank you for the gems. 77/4B analysis was brilliant. What if we also had FULL control of combinatorics? Is it relevant that 1140 flops yield overpair for 77 or 2256 flops give 77 a set, etc?

I always chop sb vs bb in casino because the rake is big and blind vs blind hand almost always see the flop so there is rake. I don't want casino to take player's money.

Hey Pete I love your videos I used to be a NL100-250 reg and now I believe I might be quitting poker because after a taking a long break I can't even beat 25NL anymore. It's devastating I hope your other viewers can scrap together a winning record since this game has given me massive trauma

What you're saying around 5:30, about not RNGing in spots where one is clearly not indifferent IN REALITY, is what really bugs me about some of the smallstakes streamers like easty. They will constantly RNG both preflop and postflop, when, in a NL25 pool on 888 or whatever, there is zero reason to ever RNG. Look at players like Yolan Cohen or the PlayItSmart guy (who are actually crushing), when they're playing lower stakes, they will basically never use an RNG, because they don't need to, because they understand how to generate true EV. You don't generate true EV at NL50 by getting frequencies right. One example that I got from Yolan Cohen is not having a xback range vs a SB limper. I copied that from him, and 4x-ing 100% performs incredibly well against the weak SB limping ranges in small stakes. Also, as someone who struggles with self harm, the analogy about shaving and cutting yourself is just too funny rofl Don't give us strupid ideas, we'll actually start RNGing that shit rofl (I'm joking, it's just a coping mechanism)

I don't have any issues like that, but I was thinking that I wake up tomorrow and just RNG my entire morning. I think that would be really funny to do. The only question is what happens if I RNG shirt, no pants, no underwear and go out in public?

Well personally i dont 4b 77 cause i play live and its almost impossible and never a +EV play. Open sizes are to big and populations 3b range is literally almost non existent and very linear. But i definitly 3b them sometimes.

The thing about GTO is that it doesn't necessarily make the most money in every individual spot, it makes an optimal amount of money based on infinite hands against other players that also play according to GTO. GTO is a great starting point because you can't be exploited if you follow it rigorously. If you start deviating from it to exploit someone, you are opening yourself up to also get exploited. So if you always 4bet 77 in the first example, someone may get wise to it and start exploiting you by always shoving. This is the fine line between GTO and exploitative that you need to walk. If you won't get exploited yourself (because the opposition is quite weak), it's more logical to start exploiting
