DO NOT throw your liquid lipsticks away! They might be out but liquid blushes are in. I mix a bit of liquid lipstick with a drop of foundation or concealer on my hand and apply it as blush. I kid you not it works like a dream, it wears like iron and you suddenly have a ton of new blush shades without spending a dime! 😎

Please do consider that anything Tati is saying on this video about clean and toxic substances is misinformation deeply rooted in the clean movement fear mongering marketing. I respect her as a make up influencer and as a good person who is making her own choices in bettering her quality of life: I 100% support that. it's definitely true that there are substances in some makeup that we should try and limit exposure to or remove altogether, like talc and formaldehyde, but to say/imply all aerosols are unhealthy in some way is just voodoo science. It's frustrating that Tati won't be more accurate and factual when talking about her choices, instead of making these vague crystal-waving assertions about 'toxins'.

I work for Dior and the reason they discontinued the airflash foundation is because Dior is trying to be more eco friendly. They’re also using ingredients in their makeup that are more naturally derived. They relaunched forever foundation so it’s only clean ingredients and even came out with an alcohol free fragrance (which smells gorgeous), all to adhere to their new standard.

That they try to make it more eco friendly I LOVE, but the "clean ingredients" part is just bs. What even is "clean"? Naturally derived ingredients are in some cases worse for the enviornment and worse for our health. Natural plants with interesting properties contain a multitude of chemicals and the concentration of the sought after chemical varies. Chemicals used in cosmetics were often first discovered in a plant, but then we learnt how to isolate it and the isolated chemical is much more reliable.

I removed fragrance when I was trying to get pregnant because it was suggested there could be a potential impact to egg quality. None of what Tati is describing happened to me. Food isn't better. I don't now have an overblown reaction to any fragrance. There was no difference in my life (and I was pretty careful). I think you are either sensitive to these things or you are not. Don't assume you need to eliminate something you enjoy from your life because of someone else's experience.

Same. I went completely scent free in my home for probably a decade. No air fresheners or plugins. No candles. Free-and-clear laundry detergent. No dryer sheets. All lotions and soaps and shampoos were plain and simple. About a year ago I started adding back in things with the scents I've missed, and my world did not implode. Still no candles, but that's only because I have pets that like to get too close to them.

So I'm kinda wondering if along with the fragrance removal if that it goes part in parcel with the fact that Tati also removed refined sugars from her diet. That's when my senses went crazy. As an ex smoker who probably hasn't lit a candle or used a fragranced laundry detergent or perfume like ever I never noticed a change but man when I quit sugar holy heck I can 100% say it was drastic. @@PinkPatriot because toxins is a relative term in the cosmetic industry. Consumers know it as 1 thing when companies mean another. Green washing has largely been corrupted into just fear mongerin and all this is something you should be aware of if you want to actually be "clean". It's giving "Brawndo, what Plants crave" well, why? Because it has electrolytes? Do YOU know what electrolytes are? I wouldn't listen to you, a stranger, and you shouldn't just listen to me either. We should all take information online as a suggestion then do our own research. Not enough people are going to research why Tati thinks this way. Instead they're going to take her biased opinion and treat it like a telephone game and spread something they don't even understand. If someone agrees with Tati then so be it, but do your own research. Doing research while being unbiased is a plus but not very many we I'll do that either.

I know none of us are perfect, but please keep that in mind when picking and choosing your support or lack thereof. Avoid preaching one thing while also purposefully staying ignorant about others, it's just never a good look, and a lot of us do it all the time without realizing it. I was never into liquid lips anyway, always thought a glossy lip was way more flattering! I’m glad that is less of a trend now. Although I have to say I don’t like the trend now of lining away a cupids bow - I think the cupids bow is one of the prettiest parts of the face and burring it away to try to make the lips look bigger just looks sloppy! (In my opinion)

I‘m working in product compliance and did a safety assessment course for cosmetics at the beginning as well and almost immediately stopped using stuff with frangrances. I am still using perfumes but put it on my clothes instead off my skin. I don‘t want to risk more allergies than I already have😅I tried to do things for the environment even before it was a „trend“ because I had to. Now I am doing it because I want to. I like these videos because they are different! The same for make-up🙈I was in South Africa for 3 weeks and wore no Make-up at all and I loved it! Right now my BIGGEST concern is finding products that won't settle and accentuate lines and texture on my face. I know I am not alone. What a great opportunity for a cosmetic brand to find a beauty breakthrough product for this problem or get more beauty influencers to come up with ingenious out of the box methods to solve this problem. Maybe as they age it will become more of a thing Haha. As for Bath and Body I can't get 10 feet near their stores without getting a major headache or feeling sick.

WOW… I can’t believe i just saw this 😮 ironically i was just in ulta today for the first time in a long time and was returning a foundation for the 4 th time this week!! I don’t know what it is exactly, but everything i put on my skin sets off a reaction within minutes lately, causing me to feel ill internaly. I know it sounds kinda nuts but I’ve decided to listen to that gut feeling! I don’t wear much makeup these days, as im almost 60, and like you, don’t want to wear intense colors in make up, more nudes and just outlining my eyes and brows and lips, but no crazy artsy shadows and lashes etc. What brought me in to ulta was that the only foundation that never stung my face and was very hydrating was Josie Maran Vibrancy argan oil foundation, sadly it was discontinued and her whole line of products were certified clean, had no sunscreen or fragrance and no alcohol. I have rosacea so i do need to use a foundation base to go to work. As I watched your video, I thought about everything you talked about and i sooo agree!! Im an esthetician and i can tell you that products put onto skin absorb immediately into your bloodstream. The skin is the largest organ in our body and it needs to breathe, thats why we have pores all over!! Think about when a doctor prescribes a transdermal patch of either hormones or anything else, it’s because its the fastest absorption!! So don’t know what ingredients causes my face to react to bases so much, but one thing you didn’t mention thats in a lot of them is very harmful chemical sunscreens. The few I reacted to contained them and its like i can barely wash them off, like they are deeply embedded! Anyway, thank you for sharing your journey and thoughts with us, as i feel i was meant to see this today. My skin care is just plain argan oil and and im even nixing some hair care stuff with those aweful fake fragrances. Any thoughts on perfume brands that don’t have harsh chemicals?? I do enjoy scent but very mild and natural. Slowly i will be ridding my household of more and more. Im not really over paranoid, but i do think we can do with far less chemical based stuff.

I stopped burning candles, many years ago, after I discovered the Black soot in my air vents from candles. Fireplaces are bad on lungs too. I don't cook, however, my friends do. The smoke off food and pots are dangerous too. My friend was grilling steaks, and afterwards, my eye glasses was covered with a fine film of grease, and I was out in the living room! I'm 67 years old now, and have lived and learn, what to stay away from.

I use a LOT of natural essential oils. The brands I use are young living or revive oils both are great. I use there thieves cleaner to spray down furniture if I need my house smelling good. Also Tati! Look up ways to use Castile soap! There is SO many different ways to use that, laundry detergent, face wash, hand soap, body wash, shaving foam, shampoo, literally so many! It is amazing stuff and so cheap! I also use diffusers in my house with the oils to help smell and clean the air, if you get one that uses water it doubles as a humidifier also!
