I've watched Tati for years, and I mean a very long time, back when she'd go couponing at drug stores and whatnot. I've obviously always loved her product reviews, especially in regards to makeup (but gal I will never be purchasing a Natasha Denona eyeshadow pallet). That being said, girl its nearly 2023, we've got actual dermatologists reviewing skincare on youtube now with really in-depth analysis of ingredients. Hearing "clean," "toxic," "endocrine disrupting" is so shocking coming from a reputable guru like her. Aren't we past the fear-mongering? We all know the EWG is marketing propaganda and misrepresents studies and science. I get that she's been on the "clean" train for a long time but a lot of people don't buy it anymore and the "clean" labels mean less and less every year. Hearing that somethings got essential oils isn't a positive, nor is hearing that its "paraben-free." Its a very 2015 way of thinking about skincare.

I believe it is the low quality oils, that causes that for you. I have been using only basic and essential oils (of high quality ingredients) on my face for 10 years, nothing else and my skin has never been better. So I don't use products with essential oils in it, but rather just the oils.

Tati, the term “clean” has no boundaries or restrictions. There is no clear definition which is why it’s strictly a marketing tactic. Until the term “clean” is actually regulated and monitored you’re still gonna find questionable ingredients in clean products. Once again, what is "clean beauty" if it has no definition? I highly highly recommend to listen to board certified dermatologists. Tinted moisturizers are great for people like my self who are not full coverage queens and don't wear a full face of make up every day. I love make because it's so beautiful but I can feel it on my face, even the ones that tati has expressed "it's like you're wearing nothing, it's so light you can't feel it". For those who don't wear make up often when the slight bit of color is like night and day for us. And we do see the extra added color in the tint. I get low key make up isn't for everyone. But neither is full coverage. Neither is bad or better. It's just on the individuals preference.

@@sofixmasnahxd correct, but 1. Not causally linked. There is no evidence that aluminum is in any way the cause of Alzheimer's, just that there are high amounts of aluminum in the brain. 2. A fluffy frothy blurred lip from NYX is meant to either blurt out at the lines for an artistic aesthetic, or it’s actually very easy to blend in with a lip liner. I got one in rosy red which is like a deep Christmas red and it’s absolutely beautiful, But there are days when the blurred look just doesn’t really do it for me. That’s when I pull out a lip liner. Seeing a lot of aversion to the term 'clean' in the comments section. I agree 💯 that a) it's marketing driven and b) it's undefined. But it's also signalling that the brand wants to do better with their formulations and exclude ingredients where safety studies are incomplete, inconclusive or inconsistent. There is nothing wrong with this. To the clean-deniers in the comments, please stop coming after people for using this term. The attacks are unjustified.

Man those danessa myricks chrome flakes broke my heart lol it was way expensive for my budget but I was so excited and bought one anyways and no matter what I did it looked horrible and crusty like you said. I tried and tried. I've been letting it sit in my drawer cause I didn't have the heart to throw all that money away. I tried to give it to one of my artistic daughters and she hated it so I finally threw it away a couple days ago and I felt so so so so sad about that lol That product was probably my biggest makeup product fail ever. Absolute garbage and that's unfortunate.

Yes totally agree with you on celebrity lines, most of them are just trying to make more income without really putting the work, Wich is why Jlo's makeup line was a bust, and Adriana's perfumes and makeup line and Gwen's line are going to fail it feels and looks as if their just putting things out there that already exist just with their name on them 🙄

Tati, do you use any fillers or Botox ? Do you check your hair product ingredients (all including color ) Not meant to be a snarky question but clean has to mean clean or it’s just another frivolous term of the 21st century.

Tati I agree about the Toups deodorant!! It literally felt like I was ripping off my skin and then it pulled so so so bad and the smell stained my clothes but it wasn’t a great smell ( lemon grass mint). Love their other stuff except the foundation and primer didn’t work for me. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the makeup. As always loved the video. God bless.

A lot of the cleaner deodorants tend to be dry. You have to warm them up on the skin a bit. I hold mine to my armpits a few seconds before wiping. It does crumble also but I just rub my arms to my body and work the bits in 🤷‍♀️.

These beauty companies can label their products any way they want the US has crap regulations. The big thing is "clean beauty" so that's how they are going to label it to get people to spend money on their products. Many times ingredients that companies list as bad actually are not and ones they list as good are bad.

Tati - it is clear that your journey has brought you down the preverbal rabbit hole regarding "clean beauty" & the evils of certain chemicals whether it be in food, water, makeup or body care. And I get it! I have been down that rabbit hole & many others in my own journey to better health. However, as a long time subscriber ( & not planning on going anywhere ) & so happy to have you back ....I just have to mention that your constant reference to "clean beauty" etc is becoming a bit off putting. Obviously, this is Your channel & you will do with it as you please. This is just how I have been feeling regarding your most recent videos!!

Warm the surface of natural deodorant up with a little warm air from the blow dryer. It softens the surface and then you swipe easily. L’Oréal has a root touch powder pen, you click it and the powder moves to the pen bristles and you can touch up small sections, work great without the messy spray.

I too was under the impression that all more natural deodorants were terrible and I would never find one that worked for me. HIGHLY recommend Nuud. It’s amazing. It just works. It is a cream that you need to apply with your fingers rather than a stick, so I can see that turning some people off, but I’d say it’s worth it. Easily the best deodorant I’ve ever used.

There’s nothing wrong with baking soda just in natural deodarants it can cause rashes in some people, like me 🤦‍♀️. Still on the hunt for a good clean deodorant 3years later. I've never seen you mention Ethique. It's a fantastic plastic-free brand that my skin has fallen in love with. They sort-of-recently came out with lipsticks. :D I would adore to see you discover their formulas. They do include essential oils in some of their products, but they have an unscented version of pretty much everything. I have very allergic skin, and I've never reacted to one of their products (this has NEVER happened to me with a brand). I don't mean to over-hype, but I've turned my whole family onto them. Their deodorant was also the only natural deodorant I could find that kept me dry enough that my water allergy (aquagenic pruritis) doesn't react to my own underarm sweat.

I just thought I’d mention if you don’t already know that tallow is a beef fat and is a traded commodity. I used to work at soap manufacturer and the tallow would be delivered by train in a huge separate car and left to be pumped into the plant for processing. The funny thing is you’d walk into the plant and you knew when the car was there because it’s smelled like roast which I found kinda amusing. It’s great for skin but after I’ve seen the processing a smelled like hot roasted beef I no longer want that in my soap. Just read your labels if you don’t want tallow and it will be one of the first few ingredients listed normally. But again it’s great for your skin

The whole 'clean' thing as just a byword doesn't only apply to cosmetics, btw. The other day I clicked on a listing for a sweater that made a big deal about being vegan cashmere. The materials were spandex, acrylic, nylon and polyester. Technically vegan, yes, but far from the natural plant products that I was expecting.
