Roxxxy also revolutionized All Stars deliberations. The 1st Episode of All Stars 2, Roxxxy & Tatianna were the Top 2, and went back to the werkroom to talk. While Tatianna had already made up her mind (not surprising considering they weren’t asked to discuss their choices), Roxxxy pulled Adore aside to ask how she’s feeling, etc. This discussion was filmed and the next episode immediately became mandatory as Katya & Alaska talked with the Bottom Queens of the week. But it was Roxxxy & not the producers who came up with the idea of talking to the Bottom Queens for input as to who to choose.

I’ve got two suggestions: I think Tatianna in AS2 paved the way, then Aja in AS3 led to the explosion in performing original songs in the talent show (or even continuing the talent show challenge at all, since it was new at the time). Those acts not only go viral, songs also make BIG streaming money that the show can swoop in and take. It’s to the point where Sugar/Spice said somewhere that on their packing list production outright encourages queens to prepare a track for the talent show. It’s too early to say if this will be a “trend”, but I felt something shift when Kitten and Nearah both did Jennifer Coolidge in the Snatch Game. Many queens have brought identical characters before and they basically play chicken until someone caves, but both of them refusing to back down and production allowing two identical characters was a first and I wonder whether it could keep happening.

Now I could be wrong, but did Roxxxy Andrews’ wig reveal just accidentally end up being iconic? Some queens especially back then stacked their wigs for more volume.
