Great list, but I believe the Suzuki Swift should also be in the list. It's an underrated vehicle which has so much potential with it's lightweight (even by hatchback terms) and seeing as it's a hatchback, cornering and braking is all a piece of cake

Yeah, and if u want a sleeper, the hhr ss. Just a simple turbo upgrade and tune puts you over 400 wheel hp. Mine makes about 430 and kills a lot of "fast" cars

You guys always forget to mention the Volvo S60R specifically in its last 2 production years (2005-2007) 5.4sec 0-60, 6 speed manual or auto offered. Single turbo DOHC 5 cylinder with dual VVT pushing 300hp factory. Was designed with full intentions of competing head to head with the BMW M3 at the time. Intelligent AWD combined with active suspension and a in vehicle button setup to change the entire feel of the car in less time than it took to press the button. The Volvo 5 cylinder motor and turbo for the R models were built in collaboration with Porsche to make the ultimate family mans weekend track car in a total sleeper car package. No one expects a Volvo to be fast, especially not a stock one but the S60R and wagon variant the V70R are the true definition of a modern factory sleeper car that’s still underrated to this day.

You forgot the GTI, I own one and man that little 210hp hatch just rips and handles so well, not to mention the interior is luxurious for its class. Mine is a 2017 tho which is way above 10k but earlier gens fall under the budget mark. Anyway I have so much fun driving it.

The Z is great in two scenarios: if you don't want more than 350hp or if you can afford to buy a new motor every week if you turbo it. I went from a Z34 to a 6th gen camaro a few years ago and I can say from experience that hp isn't everything. A slow ass nissan on a curvy road is some of the best fun a human can have, and I bet an even slower miata is even better

The cobalt ss is either n/a, supercharged, or turbocharged. The turbocharged car has 260hp. The supercharged car only has 205hp.

You have no idea about go karts if you think an nc or any miata/MX5 for that matter is an adults go kart. Like, Compared to a rental go kart sure, I see a comparison for power and acceleration but Compared a 2 stroke go kart, no way. A proper go kart will destroy any MX5 with any engine in it. Don't for get all mx5s from factory are over 1000kg. Which isn't alot compared to most car, but is a heck of a lot compared to the super light sports cars like Caterham and proper road legal track cars which really are more like "adult go karts"
