Regarding Ric Flair, what I've heard throughout the years is that he ruins friendships over his ego, and it's always a one way friendship. My personal opinion is Flair needs to grow up. He is not forgotten by not being the spotlight and could have been a hands on mentor or backstage to thousands of wrestlers. Instead he kept pushing to be in the spotlight taking time away from wrestlers in a company that failed the wrestlers by focusing on Flair and other over the hill wrestlers that show time of being well past their prime. I remember a program between Flair and Hogan that was just horrible, they moved too slow could not take bumps and the bumps they took had me wondering if they were okay due to their age. As for Punk does he have any friends or only when he works with them in the same company? Friendships are hard to come by and those who reached out to mend the fences, glad to hear they did.

Raven had a reputation. And they didn't blame him for anything, they just didn't want Shane to develop bad habits. It wasn't just from Raven, Vince didn't want Shane too close to the boys for various reasons. One was that back then most the boys were still mostly academically ignorant carnys full of vices and other unflattering traits that no father wants their kid to have. Another is that he feared that the talent could take out their anger with Vince on Shane.

Why do I get the feeling that Rick Flair has done something terrible. Everyone seems to be distancing themselves from him. Nobody talks to him and nobody seems to talk about him. Almost like if they did, a terrible secret would be broken and WWE would have to cut so much of their precious content. Maybe I'm just jaded because of... Well life. But it's just a feeling in the back of my skull.

@xlixity Жыл бұрын
@@Alvin_Vivian 2002 is when Trips _started_ becoming actively involved with Flair, lol. It's not that at all. The biggest reason people fall out with Flair is because Flair does not want to stop being Ric Flair. He wants to party hard & live fast til he dies. As you grow and age you acquire responsibilities and settle down. Flair never truly did, and doesn't want to. It's akin to the guy in his late 20s who's still acting like a frat boy and partying, fucking, and slacking off rather than developing his future and making something of themselves. No one with goals and aspirations over 25 is going to want to be very acquainted with someone like that. So naturally, you drift apart.

I don’t think Shawn has ever spoken on it, but it’s obvious he felt some type of way about Flair returning to the ring after their WM 24 match. Shawn has thrown digs multiple times over the years, never put a name on it, but it’s obvious it was aimed at Flair.

The situation between Randy and Kennedy was definitely exasperated. Randy complained, not asked let alone demanded for Kennedy's firing. Now John Cena inserting himself into the equation is really suspicious. I believe it's Cena who truly got Kennedy pulled. There's no reason Cena had to jump into Randy's situation like that. Randy was definitely over and had hella pull backstage at that time after paying his dues early on, so Randy could've got Kennedy pulled on his own if he really wanted to with no boost. According to certain wrestlers testaments, Cena really did sound like Hogan backstage when it comes to politics. This reminds me of that situation with Hogan and Ventura back in the day when Ventura was schooling other wrestlers on getting payed what they were worth and understanding the value of their brands rather than accepting crabs in a bucket.

Yeah, i'm sure that Cena is gonna be similar to Hogan, where a lot of stuff comes out after the fact.
@brianstallings42522 жыл бұрын
@@wandereringshadow8658 right!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, it already has. There's a whole list of wrestlers including exes who've all deadass told how Cena either got them buried, or just flat out fired. Every generation had those wrestlers who had that kind of stroke that granted them control. What's funny is Taker had that stroke all the way up until he retired, yet never had to sabotage anyone else's career underhandedly. For people like Foley or Taker to say something towards the repremanding let alone firing of another wrestler that wrestler really legit had to be guilty of whatever they would've said seeing it is no wrestler ever had anything negative to say backstage about them no matter who it's been over the span of their careers. That's really saying something. Kane's been the same way as well, nothing but praises. The realest and greatest never had to throw dirt on anyone, they let their abilities and personas do the talking for them.

@@samanthasims7123 right, but either way that's between him and Randy.
