I'm reading the letters right now! Got a copy for valentines day, and already it's changing my life. He's one of my favorite artists, but I'm also just blown away but his humanity and spirit that come out in the letters.

Love how you aim for the proper pronunciation & apologized if pronounced incorrectly... You've just shown us an apparent virtue within you: wisdom and humility.

Hello! Currently reading, " Dear Theo" by Irving Stone, again. I agree, with you, these letters are so intimate and poetic imagery is overwhelmingly beautiful. These letters are priceless, and I feel so honored to read them. Glad to know I am not alone in loving these sensitive messages from such a notoriously misunderstood artist. 🤗🖌️🎨

I remember also his words about how any figure, any landscape or any tree keeps life from painter´s soul in every piece of art. And he was totaly learning all from his own experience. Oh... what a wonderful coincidence. Thank you very much...

Vincent was a feeler not a thinker/he was articulating his feeling / Introspection/you misinterpret him as a thinker/because he wrote letters communicating /he was a infp rare personality type/lots of his struggles where about living full of love beauty harmony and feeling in a thinking society!he wasn't crazy/he was emotionally traumatized by misinterpretation he met on every hand /he wasn't mentally ill he was emotionally dis/regulated from growing up warm hearted with cold hearted parents/and back in his day they didnt have any understanding about learning about how your type of personality works so you can manage your feelings/emotions and take care of yourself/he was a creational artist/to me the most authentic type!

Thanks Florent for this! "Van Gogh Alive" was recently shown here in uae which featured his letters and paintings. One could feel the intensity of emotions in the correspondence. With sound effects and all, it was really fascinating to watch!

Hello Florent! It´s amazing....I´m allready reading those letters right now! I rode them when I was so young, and they trigged me to start with brushes and oils...But surely had not understood them well. So I picked them up last week and started reading them again. And I´m actually amazed. They´re a gift for the heart of any artist. They´ve skills, thoughts...So intense and deep. I love them and think we should be very thanksful to Theo´s wife for publishing them!... Every one with sense of art should read them...They´re something that kick you to appreciate colors, forms, start painting and love Vincent to guide you over all of that....I agree with you! ...Also you´re amazing. Keep on sharing!

Love Van Goph.. This was a conversation I had with a friend a few months ago. I’m happy to hear you speak the correct pronunciation. Many people are surprised, as I was, to hear we were saying his name wrong for years. Thank you ! 💜
