I've lived in new Brunswick all my 38 years, well from 2004-2008 my wife and I lived in Fredericton while we were getting our post secondary education. NB has the highest tides in the world

@@leonardsheatravel yeah no problem, I live in Dalhousie the most northern part of NB. we have alot of beauty in our town, we the citizens take our town for granted sometimes. the inch Arran park and beach is definitely the place to be in the summertime. have you been to Dalhousie? I'm going to be in Moncton this week actually..,Im proud to be a new brunswicker edit Aug 18th too many covid cases in Moncton so my families def not going there

Moncton is named in honor of Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Monckton (1726-1782), who captured Fort Beauséjour and took part in the deportation of the Acadians. It would be like naming a town Hitlerton, after Adolf Hitler.

@@rps1689 I have been to Nova Scotia many times and it did not seem like a have not province. Its very nice compared to BC. We have a LOT of poor people here and drugs that go along with that. Sure there are some rich people but not any different than anywhere else.

The thing only things I miss about BC, is lower taxes, the variety of geography, climate, and its healthcare system. I can't wait to leave the Maritimes, but haven't decided where to go yet.

Nice video well done. I am an immigrant, l live in moncton. Unfortunately I do not love Moncton. No one is talking about racism here, I have eaten a very large chunk of it especially from work place racist colleagues, and it not just me. I am single and hopefully I will not be raising a family here. NB needs immigrants but yet can't be nice or treat them well, especially immigrants from Africa.

I HAVE SOME SERIOUS QUESTIONS ABOUT NEW BRUNSWICK - I hear that New Brunswick has some concerns. 1. New Brunswick has the highest Radon Gas levels in Canada. I hear that when you buy a home the you must sign a waiver that you understand that you may have this gas in your house. 2. Most of the province is sprayed several times a year with glyphosate ( round up). This is done in the forests with helicopters and or planes. 3. New Brunswick has that Neurological brain disease that has affected around 38 people 6 of which has died. These things are a big concern.

As a Moncton resident for the past 50+ years, And before I leave this place, I should give you 50 reasons to dislike a city named after an arrogant British Naval Officer. But I'll refrain from that, you can learn it on your own. Now with that said, there are far worse places on earth to live, but you should not attempt to hype this place as anything special, the only thing special about this place, are some of its people. For even our presumed world famous Fundy Tidal Bore has been given the name by many visitors, as a Total Bore.
