In this video, we'll take a look at the so-called Winx Club Specials, One-Hour Series produces by Rainbow and Nickelodeon. Did they succeed in summarizing the first seasons of the original show? I totally agree with you. I tried to watch at least one of the specials, but I never could. There's something very magical in the first original seasons that the specials could never truly capture, and even tho the art style looks more "detailed" compared to that used in the first seasons, the story seems so flat, it's a shame many fans only know the story starting from the specials. Dark Bloom in Rai/Cinelume was so scary... and i LOVED it!!! The last nick special which had dark bloom was not interesting at all. I grew up with Nickelodeon but Rai seasons 1-2 will forever beat the specials. Only reason I like the nick dub is because of the amazing voice actors

I agree with you, there are a lot of changed things and inconsistencies between the specials and the first two seasons, (especially because summarizing a whole season into 40 minutes it's pretty hard). Though, the special effects they added, the Charmix sequence and the new graphic are still really good to see TBH.

Uh English video nice ^^ argh the specials where more a weird demake then a remake XD It really botheres me when people call Magix Winx Charmix... that makes no sense! The thing with season 2... wow that was confusing to watch... I watched the comparison of them and the fact that Darkar is Avalon in the special makes it even more weird... I don't like the specials and will never watch them again... the only thing I liked where the transformations... they aren't that nostalgic then the original ones but I liked them and they where good... With the art style I can totally understand you I have the same feeling... the old art style has something that the newer style don't had even though technically the newer is more smooth (I also prefer picture for picture animation then this other animations where they animate the pictures more then drawing more... It's faster but looks kinds bad to me compared)

The difference you didn't mention is that they didn't show Riven & Musa's moments or when the time Riven sacrificed himself for Musa😭. The designs were soooooo clean though it's a disappointment that they changed & cut out alot of parts😭. Btw(Bytheway) who's your favorite Winx fairy??? Mine are 2 which are Musa & Flora🎶🌺. But if I had to choose between the 2 I'd choose Musa💖. Idk why but I just think that Musa deserves more love especially when she is the Winx Member who is the most mistreated for me & doesn't really get alot of screen time as much as Bloom. For me Musa is the most mistreated Winx member because: - She lost her mother - She didn't make a wish in Season 5 - She had no Mythix Spells - She experienced the most break ups with Riven - In Season 7 of Winx Club you can see some moments where she is sad, & it's because she misses Riven, but no one comforted her about it. - Her pixie Tune got replaced (Also Tecna's pixie got replaced too) by some weather pixie. - She got robbed in Season 5 because instead of her getting the lead singer role, BLOOM GOT IT INSTEAD. & That's why I think Musa is the most mistreated Winx Club Member😞.

In terms of animation and voice quality,I think Nick nails it easily but in terms of storytelling and scriptwriting,either the OG Italian version or Cinelume

The only thing I loved in the Special is the new Magic Winx Transformation, it was so catchy and full of elements, something kinda like Believix and I'm living for that ! ...but the HUGE thing I hated about the special is the erasure of the little mermaids/nymphs (fées des algues in french) they were so cute and their episode was so interesting and magical and unique in the Winx Universe... yes it was not really useful to the story but... No, some of the episodes were too much memorable t pretend they never exist !

the thing that bothered me (the version of NICK.) and dark bloom, before it was more beautiful and bad instead this new one seems to bloom only with black clothes. Thank you so much for the video 💜 The first 1-4 seasons always provoked some memories... I already feel nostalgia and desire to rewatch all episodes. I don't know what Rainbow was doing after 4th season, after 2012 I left winx fandom, during 2012-2018 hate hype was really popular and all over place, I feel so guilty for falling to this unnecessary hate so I could gain some respect from my peers and people who hated winx and made fun of it. I never saw the original Winx and grew up on W.I.T.C.H. but I always wanted to watch it. When the Specials came I felt a little lost because of the reasons in the video but I still enjoyed it. Now I really want to see the original show, I feel like I missed out on so much.

honestly, I love the rai version it's so much better in terms of story development and facially expressions, but I do believe that the nick version had much cleaner animation, but all in all the is better as it reflects the fashion in the 2000s, nick did Winx dirty by changing the casual outfits in season 1, they could've introduced the new outfits in season two, therefore, the next generation would still be able to get a feel of the 2000s, and also they should've sticked to the story more

I prefer the old drawing style because it's natural to make a weird face sometimes. I mean if you pause a video, the person may looks weird. And they move more lively in my opinion. The TV Special Animation was created fast and with no heart. You can clearly see that.

Was I the only one that thought the 4th special felt rushed, they could of definitely make 2 more specials with the whole 1st special rescuing the pixies the 2nd special when lord darkar takes the first 2 codex and the 3rd for the last 2 codex with the final battle with of course winx earning their accessories

The Winx comics are identical to the cartoon in some points, but in other points are completely different( the Trix' option Memory after the Battle with Darkar, Bloom gets a job, ecc)

Actually, you are wrong. In season 2 there are only two villains, Darkar( obviously) and the fake Avalon, because Darkar kidnapped off-screen the real Avalon( i still don't understand how he has captured him and why) and he created a Copy of the real One, but making him evil. When Avalon saved Bloom, Aisha, Stella and Sky from the Trix i think he was already the Avalon copy that Darkar created but this was only to be trusted by the girls and Sky. Also, in the same episode, Aisha asks the pixies how they escaped from the cells and Digit answers that the cells deactivated by themselves, and Aisha gets suspicious!!
