I applied for Tulsa remote, was super excited about it, but unfortunately I didn't even get an interview. I was under the impression that as long as I met the qualifications I could get in, but I didn't realize it was so competitive. So bummed. Tulsa looks like a great city, I look forward to visiting.

I was under the same impression, but found out that only about 3% of applicants are accepted. About 20,000 people applied last year and about 600 were accepted. Tulsa Remote posts a lot on LinkedIn, and I was following them.

Thanks for hitting the highlights. I've been subscribed for quite some time now (1 yr?) and looking to move there as soon as my lease ends in Dallas in 4 mos. The plan is to seek a 1 bdrm apt. I just need to land an IT remote job first :) Perhaps in the future I will consider a local job in Tulsa.

Likely moving there in a few months to go to their trade school. From Colorado, but I’m tired of the traffic, the high elevation, the high cost of housing… It’s surprising how much lower real estate prices are in Oklahoma. A 200k 3bd/2ba house there would cost at least 800k where I’m from.

I don't mind Tulsa, I know there's other part to live (and get a job), but you don't have to live here... anyway I think by the time Tulsa King 🤴 aired, it got cold 🥶 [already](I don't know how Sly missed that?...well that's all for now thank you for sharing.
