Luke Garrett, Stanley Chapel, Tommy Cherry....what do all these cubers have in common? That's right, they're all all-rounders! They practice all of the WCA events, instead of just a few! In this video, I go over just ten of the many, MANY reasons why YOU should become an all-rounder!

It really does make things a lot more fun, even if you’re better at one event than another. Sometimes I get tired of grinding pyraminx for hours on end, and I decide to pick up a 5x5 and see what I can do there, even if I’m pretty trash at it. Or if I’m tired of learning 2x2 algs, I can learn Square-1 algs. It really is tons of fun to do every event, except for skewb, stay away from skewb.

Loved this video! I recently found that I love megaminx a ton, more than other events. I’ve always practiced a lot of events, but I love the satisfaction of learning an alg set. I recently started to really get into megaminx, and I just finished learning four look last layer. I saw crazy improvement in just two weeks. I went from averaging 2 minutes to 1 minute 30. With megaminx, it will be hard to finish full pll and oll, so I love megaminx.

I used to only practice 3x3, oh, and some 2x2 and 4x4. This year I started to practice almost every event except for the blind events, fmc and clock, and ironically now I'm not just better at all the other events (except for pyraminx, I still don't get used to L4E) but also at 3x3.
