If you are a driving enthusiast, Altroz is definately not for you. I can assure. But Freestyle petrol is THE most peppy, fun to drive 3 cylinder engine i've ever driven. The engine response in the highway is epic. Even with the AC on, it just drives like a hot knife through butter. And the response is epic. You dont have to think for a second time to overtake even in 4th gear. I would surely vote for the Freestyle in terms of engine performance and response.

Freestyle has 96 bhp engine whereas i20 active has 83 bhp engine. Freestyle has traction control and active roll over protection also. Boot space of figo is 257L and of i20 is 285L. The difference is only of 28L. The ford sync system is far superior to i20's system. Ford's steering is much better than i20's lifeless steering.

Ford is popular for its handling and build quality but here in free style nuild quality is not as good as its own EcoSport .... And comming to practicality , forget about nexon first of all this freestyle can't even beat baleno in terma of practicality and space .... I think you have reviewed outdated freestyle. I have been driving this car from past 1 year: Pros: 6 airbase One of the best driving dynamics Best steering control TCS Anti roll over Auto head lamps Auto dim IRVM Ground clearance 190mm Best interior full back 257L is decent if not for vegetables then it's not a taxi. They Decreased bootspace to keep extra leg room, I keep my front seat completely at stretched position still passenger at back gets leg room. Really best steering control for city amd highway. Steering is light in city and Hars on highways. I believe you mentioned many fancy things like led inside car, looks but in the end safety is what matter. Curb weight of car is 1026 to 1050 which is approx 200kg more than Baleno.

Ofcourse practicality is a must for a hatchback even bcz most indian buyers prefer hatchbacks bcz they are affordable and suits their family ..,.. U question ur self if u have 5 members in ur family and devided to go on a vacation then will u book another car for that 5 th person and extra luggage which u can't fit in the boot of this car ..... In india practicality wins over driving dynamics ..... Its a proven fact too because .... Those so called dabbas ( balenos ) which people used to criticize a lot sells in multiples of 10 when compared to this cars.... The reason being not fuel economy as this car also gives good mileage , the reason is not marutis low cost of maintenance bcz now a days fords cost of maintenance is much lower .... The reason is practicality ..... Fords tagline had family wali feeling but its models are not designed by keeping families in mind

I own ford figo 2011 diesel model. 9 years 80k kms completed now. 1. Build quality is very good. I had two rear end collisions. One by a indigo new car, which did not damaged my car. But indigo bonnet crumbled. Second by MTC bus, which severely dented my boot door, but was able to ride my car. Replaced my rear door set. 2. Cabin noise increases as years pass by. May be it is common for all diesel cars. My friends 10 yrs old honda city petrol is decently quiet even now. 3. Ford service is slightly costlier than Suzuki and Hyundai. 4. Ford and honda cars dependable for 8 yrs. Suzuki and Hyundai for 5 years. If we are OK to switch cars every 5 years then Hyundai and Suzuki makes sense. 5. Ford makes cars with less features. They only concentrate on engine, driving comfort, strong chassis and body. Generally they cut cost in interior plastics, rear seats, lights, rearview sensors, and all non-car stuff.

For all the Ford lovers bashing Gagan for the negative review and admiring Ford’s safety, why don’t you remove of the GOD’s idol you have on the dashboard of your car? You are anyways on the safest car on the planet, safer than the cars used by Trump, Putin and Modi. Safety is just an illusion created by these car manufacturers. There is a higher rate of Maruthi cars prone to accidents and less of Ford simply because of the number of cars sold in the market. Build quality doesn’t mean heavier cars. Six airbags deployed won’t save a life in a head on collision with a truck or a bus. Please come out this proudness and drive safe.

Brother I bought the Titanium plus petrol version of Ford freestyle this year only (2020) and I have test driven many cars like i20, baleno, swift, Altroz and People Favourite Nexon. Safety features, build quality, driving dynamics, mileage, ground clearance provided by this car at around 8 lac rupees is unmatchable. It is the most value for money car in Indian market now. People going for Tata Nexon should purchase XUV 300 instead. I believe Tata Tiago, Ford Freestyle, and XUV 300 are the most value for money cars below the price range of 15 lac.

I buy Ford freestyle in September. It's very good car. I have no complaints with regard to this car I think there are many reasons also to buy Ford freestyle. I also have elitei20 dual tone asta. Clastrophobic feeling is more in i20 than freestyle specially in rear seat. In general both cars are very good and have there on own pros and cons.

If u wanted to go out on a vacation with ur entire family , then will u book another car for the 5th person & the extra luggage which cannot be fit in its boot ....???? Then comming to safety , baleno got 3 star and elite i 20 got 4 star in euro ncap test ..... Which is not at all an ordinary score and even cars like bmws fail to get such score in euro ncap tests .... Fords are best know for driving dynamics that everyone will agree but being a ford not every car will be safe ..... The proof is figo aspire which is said to be unstable during crash test and its body shell suffered impact ...... Only topend variants are safer among most of the fords because of availability of 6 airbags ..... So have proper knowledge

For the people who are criticizing this video......guys he is telling some things which should be pinch a bit in a long run. I own Figo as well as i20. I think 90% of the things are correct for Ford Figo and freestyle lineups. The engine is very good, but as compared to i20.....it's a bit low from i20. The quality of i20 is premium whereas the freestyle or Figo is not premium....it's a rough ND tough car. I think you should appreciate the negative points he managed to pull out from a good car.

I am a metallurgical and materials engineer in Volvo and believe me the plastic quality is way better, but ya I admit that there are sharp edges and unflashed contours. Please don't comment and misguide if you don't know about plastics and build quality of cars as I always see your comments on the plastics and body build materials since I find your comments vague and fussy.... And interior designs if proven are always welcome to carry forward. Regarding features they are best suited if they serve the purpose well and makes it practically effective. Ford cars seem to be old school to many and may be you too, nevertheless features provided in mid variant are offered in non other similar class pessanger vehicle. Sorry boss if you say I own the one and defending Ford's...but let me declare I own a Tata vehicle and always admire practical cars with features just can't be missed. One thing I really don't like about the Freestyle is rear seat head rest, or let's say absence of same though being provided ! Ford should revise it soon as possible.

Ford Freestyle has ABS, EBD, TCS, HILL HOLD CONTROL like important features. Plus it has 6 airbags in titanium plus varient. Though it's a CUV that's why the suspension is bit stiff. It has a decent mileage, a good engine. That's all. You're a i20 fanboy
