Just a minor correction. It wasn't a few grams. The real bear had a couple of dozen kilos in his stomach after autopsy and died of a MASSIVE heart attack within about 30 feet of the bag.

The chief medical examiner from the Georgia State Crime Lab, Dr. Kenneth Alonso, stated that its stomach was "literally packed to the brim with cocaine", although he estimated the bear had absorbed only 3 to 4 grams into its bloodstream at the time of its death. This is from the examination of the real cocaine bear, maybe that's what he meant by a few grams, coke doesn't get into the system very quickly from stomach and the bear died pretty soon after, so yeah it's stomach was full but only a few grams was in its system

The funny thing is that black bears, in general, aren't very aggressive towards humans with the exception of cub protection. They're more likely to run or climb (expert climbers) away. They're fairly small compared to the brown and grizzly bears and prefer to avoid confrontation. Absolutely beautiful, I'm from Vancouver Island and we have a nice population of black bears, along with the "spirit bears", a fascinating mutation of the Kermode bear that allows them to have the colouring of polar bears from a specific salmon. But unless you're in dense forest and very quiet, you're not likely to see a black bear. I was lucky enough to see a few when mushroom foraging with my mom.

Honestly, for Scream 6, I'll say that Sam has it much worse for 1 simple reason - allowing your bloodlust to take over, (even for extreme self-defense), is likely not be going to be understood by literally anyone that doesn't have any sort of bloodlust themselves, naturally. This means Tara will never fully understand her own sister by default. Sure, Chad will likely have life-altering injuries but physical therapy and/or surgery can minimize the problems from that, especially considering he didn't lose a limb. Plus, Chad's a college student, so recovery is a lot easier the younger you are. Once the bloodlust gets engaged enough, there's really no way to cage it up. That's something Sam is literally going to have to live with and may be likely, (considering she killed her boyfriend in Scream 5 before this movie even occurred), to potential engage in violent acts, as needed. That, plus, since there are a ton of Stab fan-boys, they will use the fact she killed an entire family one-by-one as a reason to social shame her, torture her via social media, and/or actually try to kill her and/or her loved ones. It's easy to twist the truth like a knife on social media, people. and people do that all the time to get others socially shamed alone, whether or not, they did anything wrong. Even if Sam gets away with things without seeing a courtroom in this movie, I expect this exact same sort of situation will happen and a bunch of Stab-freaks may target her again in a variety of ways. (BTW, Sam, I recommend, at least, getting a RING doorbell and a big dog. The RING to prove if someone breaks into your place to try to frame you for murder. The big dog to maul anyone that tries to enter your home in Ghost-face outfit. If you're not going to own guns, this seems like the legit minimum you can do as basic home-based self-defense.) Just saying here: bloodlust is bad enough, but Sam may have to literally eventually end up fulling a cemetery full of graves just to survive long-term and be able to have her sister survive too.

Chad surviving that onslaught is ridiculous. Man should be 100% dead lol

I mean, Knock at The Cabin did subvert expectations by not having a twist when, normally, were used to his films having one.

There’s a whole host of struggling people who would benefit from no longer believing they are legends and fully accept their lot in life, to simply exist and make our tiny corner of such a massive time scale better for those around us

Not a bad selection though for a movie that literally exists to remind us dying isn't the worst outcome I'd recommend Gehenna: Where Death Lives.

Scream 2 takes place in a college town in, I believe, Ohio. Scream 3 takes place in freaking LA. 6 was not the first time they left Woodsboro.

fun fact: any english speaker could say Bill Skarsgård's last name the proper way if you just think of the "gård" as "goard" (pronouncing as with board, ford, lord, horde etc)

I don’t think the Candyman reboot “fixed” anything about the original by focusing on race and class. You say that as if the original didn’t focus on race and class when in reality that’s the backbone of the story.

Nor does Scream 2 (which takes place at Sidney's college in Ohio). Scream VI definitely wasn't the first to break away from Woodsboro.

~~As w/some,not all,but some remakes I honestly try to keep an open mind allowing it a chance. Candyman, I made it as far as the gallery show w/predictable situation that took place sealing it for me. Took tad bit effort to get that far too ,what I learned later wasn't only one, w/issue found impossible to ignore. He's an artist correct? His passion&love that's everything to him right? ~~OR WANTS EVERYONE TO BELIEVE THAT ANYWAY..? Just the same,let it be guitarist or piano player, for example, they would've gone to the hospital the next day at latest if not immediately after getting stung w/hands being their livelihood. Which he appeared to have no problem letting rot off?

So, yes, while your dopamine receptors are fried for a while and you feel very depressed, there's not actually any physical withdrawal symptoms from cocaine abuse. In fact, alcohol withdrawal is more dangerous than cocaine (as long as you weren't extremely depressed before) because alcohol withdrawal fucks with your heart and can cause seizures. Source: rehab, recovering alcoholic and you meet a lot of different addicts in rehab

Well Chad's limbs are fine and they never got his spine so his mobility will be fine. so it isn't bad at all.
@sheridanroad2001 Жыл бұрын
Agreed. While he will have scar tissue and health issues for rest of his life, it hardly compares to many other horror characters fates. Then again Chad is American, so maybe the massive medical bills is the Fate Worse Than Death
@cppblank Жыл бұрын
@Sheridan Road possibly, but if he has good insurance with a low out of pocket max it might not be too bad.

Knock At The Cabin was based off a book of the same name and it's ending was far more bleak than the movie. The girl dies and the two guys wonder what kind of God would allow the death of an innocent girl and both wait to see the end of the world.
