@@derekwoodford9955 I do somewhat know the story. just like everyone else somewhat knows it. John never met the guy in part 2. There's nothing that links John to even knowing the person until later on which would be part one so why would he look familiar to him and what's the what's the story of that burnt downtown have to do with it. Except for that one guy saying that the guy with the top hat could be seen looking over it. Still no reference to John meeting him before the events of Red Dead one and Red Dead one took place after Red Dead 2 so I do not see the correlation I've watched went through and look through your other videos the revisited of the town and the whole stranger mission with the guy in the top hat and there's no correlation to John knowing him at all or even meeting him. So for him to think that picture was familiar somehow after the fact years later is unlogical cuz there's no evidence whatsoever to support it.

for #10, isn't there a letter somewhere in either RDR 1 or 2 where Herbert Moon forbids his daughter from marrying the lad she loves, and thus it's implied he made a deal witht he devil to make sure the marriage couldn't happen, and thus inflicted the plague of cholera, which killed his daughter and most of the town

Pretty much, I think you get it from looting him in 2. The letter lines up perfectly with his quite xenophobic beliefs-

It's more implied that Herbert took a deal to make sure he and his family survived the plague, and then his daughter went and married a man Herbert didn't approve of, which made him regret whatever sacrifice he made. The note in the Strange Man's hut states "I offered you happiness or two generations. You made your choice" and the letter from his daughter says she is pregnant, fulfilling the two generations choice. His daughter had already left by the time the plague broke out as it states she was living with her husband in some other place. Herbert probably sacrificed a whole ass town

From what I have seen the strangers at the camp come after reading the Mary Linton letter during the day. My latest playthrough I stayed in chapter 2 for a ridiculous amount of time and this scene never popped up. I read the ML letter at night

I've watched all of this series I think, but I don't remember you covering the hidden denim scout jacket? Maybe you did? Anyway, if you haven't, the way to trigger it is this. You need to be at camp (usually Horseshoe Overlook), and have a very low health core. Normally between midday and 1pm, Pearson will be drinking behind his table. If you approach him, he will comment that Arthur looks a little peaky. After the conversation, you need to capture a rabbit pelt (perfect quality to be sure), then bring it back. He will award you with the Denim Jacket, which you'll find at your tent. Love the vids man! Hope this helps!

Fairvale Shanty’s loot is great since it constantly respawns. The Shady Belle/Valentine/Fairvale loop can make you some serious cash and quick, plus it’s a great chance to get cougars & panthers.

Not to mention the hundreds of different animal species I need to also find.

If you've studied at least 30(I think that's the number) different species of animals when you're along the road north of Donner falls east of the Wapiti Reservation by the lake a flock of blackbirds will spawn. Follow then to the cave and the dialog with the giant will be triggered

An interesting note about Fairvale shanty, its lockbox works similar to Limpany's. Its contents reset and can be collected over and over. Or it did on my previous playthrough. I need to check if it's been patched.

Realistically a brush fire is a brush fire, regardless of what starts it. Probably set it off with a fire bomb then it spread through all the dry underbrush and eventually burnt the surrounding area. It stops where theres no longer tree line since it had no more dry brush to burn through.

8:19 Amazing detail that I discovered at this spot, but if you kill an animal when a grizzly bear is nearby, it will pick up on the scent and come towards you. I found this out by killing some geese in the meadow. there was a grizzly bear nearby, but seemed to be moving off. Once I started skinning the geese, I saw it come up over the hill and start to scavenge one of the geese before it noticed me. tested this a second time and it worked then as well

The only time I seen the camp trespassers is when I done all the missions to were you can't continue without opening the letter. Save the game before opening the letter then open the letter and if you don't see the trespassers load the game and do it again. Even then it took so many reloads.

There's a glitch for the fairvale shanty loot.. I'm sure you and everyone already know. You can ride or run up the ditch to the right of the shanty towards the mountains then return and the gold will be respawned. You can do it over and over with no limit it seems

Just found something interesting for the next one. Just east of the R in Bolger glade there is a guy pinned to a tree with a rifle that looks to have been there for a while. He has a letter with him from someone named Martha. kind of a sad letter seeing how things panned out

Long read i know but i had to tell someone somewhere. I recently picked rdr2 back up again to get the kill/study all animals trophy. I got it finally but was still jerking around in epilouge with John afterwords and I was doing a stagecoach mission out of strawberry mailman Hector and before I got to stagecoach I fell off a cliff and gave me retry checkpoint option. I chose it and it restarted the whole game back to 1st mission with my 100% still there. I played to chapter2 and went to trapper and am able to buy all reinforced gear. It didn't keep any of my stuff so I'm unsure if I can somehow get legends of the east outfit and I cannot get the treasures again either but idc imma try for the 70 gold medals trophy with this 100% save at very start. Also Aurtur was invisible until I was able to save and load.

I don’t think the big guy is just a regular big guy, I think he’s a bigfoot. - He’s lonely because his species are near extinction - He’s judged within society because he s not human - the animals, that he talks to btw, say it’s bad out there, for people such as himself - He can’t leave because he’ll be murdered - He can’t show himself - We know the game has a tendency for the supernatural (ufo, ghost lady, vampire) and there is a Bigfoot you can find in undead nightmare, who expresses the same type of loneliness
