Great video with great points. In contact with 2 foreigner friends here. Both have wives with grown children, and are often in conflicts with money over them, and asking me to borrow. Mama bear will almost always put her kids over you. As a retired foreigner, do not want to take care of anyone else's kids, only my own. So many marrying get ensnared by this. Most scams happen on social or dating sites. Do not trust the sites. You can meet someone using the technology but to really know someone, you must visit the person. Set boundaries and if money is mentioned within six months, the odds are that is what the person really wants. Drop that person and continue searching.

Dont forget to spend lots of time together, not just a call every few days. If your into her, and she is focused on you...she WILL make time for you. I woke up to Arlene as she was ending her day at work, I got off work and started my evening routine as she was waking up for her morning routine. We overlapped our schedules and spend several hours a day together in live face to face. Over the next year we 100% had gotten to know not just each other fully...but also friends and family were observed and how they treated her. How she treated others around her, what kind of people she was influenced by. You can 100% find a meaningful relationship with someone via an online dating site if your thinking and acting with more than a pee pee staring at a pretty face.

I don't understand how their sob stories are almost identical. Not even smart enough to create their own sob story version. Another think that i noticed is that when they want to be clever and change the types of sob stories, the stories resemble each other and their common denominator is "i need money Mr.ATM. They are not even smart scammers. Very sad. Side note: it is common for poor people to ask money or scam because they have to survive but i noticed that other nationalities the asking money is not as common as it is in the Philippines. May be it is cultural thing. Many people in other poor nations are too shy or feel ashamed to ask money, but in Philippines, it feels like they see it normal. Just my observations, no judgment. Not all filipinos ask money or are scammers.

I have been in a ldr with my Filipina for just over 3 months now, and its been pretty good until recently. She has gone to hong kong for 2 year contract, i have noticed shes always active online on messanger, iv questioned her about it as she claims shes very busy as the housemaid all day. Im not a silly man but knowing shes online and she tells me im just being jealous and insecure is making it hard to believe or trust her, she claims always her messanger account is active 24 hours a day, but its not as it constantly tells when she was last active and when active. Kick her to the curb, she clearly has alternatives to you already and is just masking it while she monkey branches to the next. If you have not met her in person and spent time with her then she is not your girlfriend. She is merely a chat-mate. You may have a connection with her but that does not mean that you have a relationship. Also, if you are sending her money then you have already lost because she doesn’t have any respect for you. Genuine, loving, kind hearted GIRLFRIENDS whom you have met in person and have spent time with may be deserving of money. Chat-mates are NOT deserving of money. Also, she is NOT your girlfriend until you get to Asia and meet her in person. I was talking to my current girlfriend for two months before I left the west. During that time, she voluntarily showed me pictures of her birth certificate and police clearance, etc. I never offered her money and she only asked me for a loan a week before I was scheduled to fly out to meet her. I refused to send her money. Not even for load! I told her that her asking me for money before we have even met is like me asking her for nudes before I’ve even taken her out on a date. She agreed and apologized. A week later, I finally arrived in the Philippines. It wasn’t until I actually made physical contact with her, meaning held her hand and kissed her that I made things official and told her that she was now my girlfriend. I wanted to be able to read her body language first (to see if she really liked me) before I decided to give her the girlfriend tag. She was very sweet and seemed genuine. I presented her with flowers (which she actually cried upon receiving) as a gift for us now being an official couple. It also wasn’t until we actually had sexual inter-coarse, that I gave her any money. My rule in regard to dating, is that I refuse to share my resources with any woman who isn’t sharing her body with me. Because of the culture here (especially amongst the province women) some Fillipina’s are probably not going to have sex with you unless they really like you. Obviously this doesn’t apply to all as some of them are scammers and will have sex with you until they can convince you to completely empty out your bank account, if you are so gullible enough to do so. This is why you have to SPEND TIME with them IN PERSON and read their body language and behavior to see if they are genuine or not. Most foreigners unfortunately scam themselves actually.

I think we should also say that 1-2 red flags should warrant caution, but 4-5 and repeated offenses should send you running for the hills. My asawa was upfront. I have a parents. They're in they're upper 70s. I intend to feed them until they pass away. I will work to feed them, but if you will need to after we marry if want me as a housewife or you limit my capabilities to provide for my parents and pay it forward to my siblings for putting me into college then we shouldn't be together, so don't waste my time. I told her I'd feed her parents and with the clothing of the pag umangons as needed. However, the only issue we've ever had is I wanted to put a new roof on her parents' house. She has 4 brothers who work as builders. She expected me to pay them labor. I refused. I'm furnishing the materials. They should be fine with taking one Saturday and putting their parent's a new roof on without needing to be paid for it. We compromised on that I would feed them. I understand parents. I would do the same for mine. But I am not paying my brothers to do something they should feel obligated to do. I don't mind helping with emergency care for the kids. They shouldn't have to wait and suffer because of a broken system or their parents have to figure out their finances. Like I provided a nebulizer for one because her Mama came in the middle of the night and asked me not to let her grandson die from pneumonia. I get it. However, the parent needs to come up with future medications for his Asthma. I will help when it's appropriate and necessary and lessons are learned from failures, but I am not paying for laziness. I will not treat her family any differently than I will treat my own. I may help the girls out a little more, but it's only because they work so hard for so little appreciation and it makes me sad. I moved one in with me whose mother decided to just leave her on the streets to be with some man in Sumar. Her papa tries, but he can barely feed himself and that living arrangement didn't feel appropriate for her. A lot of my family can't see it, but it's hard to see until you see people suffering and digging through trash for little bits of chicken. I'm rambling. Sorry.

Its disgusting to watch the extended family loaf around the nipa hut all day unwilling to help...but rest assured, they will be front in line to any parties/fiesta feast you will provide. You can pump them full of balikbayan box's for christmas and when you ask for a simple assist...such as your roof needing help...viola! I hope you learned your lesson, even the freebie meal was forced and should tell you all you need to know.

@@kajuta240 It's not even my roof. It's their parents. I am offering the materials if they will put it on. They're just concerned about missing work to do it. I understand the concerns, but I'm not paying family for a gift. I live in the Philippines, so I don't do any balikbayan boxes. I was with an American girl. I fed her family too. $300 a month, if I recall, we handed her mother every month the 2 last years she was alive while the sister and the nephew sat on their asses and couldn't walk down to McDonald's, a 10th a mile walk, because not pulling up in a car was embarrassing. I don't think it's a Filipino-specific issue. I don't mind feeding her parents or making sure the kids have what they need. I grew up poor in southern Appalachia, without any jobs, and often worried about where my next meal was coming from. My parents always told me that one day I would care for my wife's parents, take her religion as long as it was Christian, and be thankful for family. All of my blood family are dead, so they have become my family. I feel closer to the family than I see other foreigners be with theirs. But I because fluent in Bisayan and I can speak to them and can hold common interests. I know the kids appreciate it. I just pray they use the opportunity to find a better way.

I have 3 more red flags. the first, If she has an excellent relationship with her father, she most likely will have one with you but if she doesn't or she comes from a broken family, its a giant red stop sign. The 2nd, if she is not kind to animals, she is not a good person. 3rd, if she does not like to French Kiss, she is not into you. A green flag is a girl who is genuinely happy. Hi. I have been talking to my filipina for two months now. In the beginning she was loving and attentive. She would send emoji’s and everything. But recently she’s been distant. The emoji’s stopped, she doesn’t exactly respond to my flirting anymore, and I see her active on her socials even though she says that she was sleeping or something like that. We had two or three instances where I would tell her that I’m worried about her leaving me only for her to reassure me afterwards. She still says she loves me but I don’t know what to believe anymore. Anyone have any advice?

I think it’s a big red flag that she’s not being transparent. Talk is cheap. Trust your gut feeling on this one. I’d cut my losses. You deserve better.

The main red flag is that she does not talk, esp. does not ask any questions about you. Isn't going on a date all about getting to know each other? Radio silence and no questions of course. Just a pair of eyes looking at you and a smile. Just like a shark looks at you. It does not talk It just smiles, and smiles and is silent, silent. Finish the date politely with the " mute:" lady and just ghost her. And the excuse is always the language. But you will be amazed how fluent she becomes when she wants you to buy her something.

If you said no and she stayed then that’s got to be some merit. But don’t dismiss the fact that there’s also what they called a long con. It’s just that for me, asking for money early on says a lot about her motivation of getting into a relationship with a Foreigner. At this point since you already have fallen in love with each other, I would suggest that you list down her qualities and compare it to your ideal qualities. Sometimes we tend to overshadow our judgement by somethings just because of the time spent together. It’s always nice to assess the relationship from a far with fresh eyes and having a list to refer to would really help. Just keep your eyes open, my friend! All the best to you!

The biggest red flag about a Foreigner is someone who is only wanting sex from you, but did not make efforts to establish a long term relationship. You won't get the guy, or the money. It's such a shame that some many very young Filipino's end up pregnant and the guy who can't support her, runs for the hills. This is a good reason for waiting for marriage, and for a true love relationship.

She has her own job for 10yrs and she loves her work. If my Filipina spends any money she always waits till we're together at the store so I know what was spent. My Filipina is very conservative and has had 2 boyfriends before me. We've been together since 2017. She has 3 kids and I'm the only father they've ever known. We're really a happy family unit and love living here in the Philippines.

I am an American man here in NYC, but I am a member of a church that is mostly Filipino. I have been there for a long time now, and I have seen that the Filipinos are one of the friendliest people groups that I've ever met. A few Americans are married to Filipinas here. Most of them seem to be quite happy, so I don't believe that all Filipinas are scammers. It's not common for them to divorce their husbands, and their husbands don't seem to be interested in divorcing their Filipina wives either… so they must be doing something right! I've been watching your channel for awhile, and it's always a nice treat! One final point: I believe that if the man and woman are both Christians, that reduces the probability of anyone being scammed or divorced...but that, of course, would involve researching one another's background, not just taking the other person's word for it. I am shallow. 😢😢😢😢😢 Unfortunately the girls I dated were pretty and of course didn't do housework. The really bad part is that they are egocentric,, selfish, selfish absorbed and think only of themselves and how entertaining I can be in various ways. As always they are always looking for more. But it always catches up with them. As you say, they can't stop time. They don't stay young for an extensive amount of time. Especially when they overindulge in activities that wear them down. They really age fast then. Surgery will do little to offset this. Meanwhile I have changed very little from the time I was 40 to the present whereas I am 60. I'm basically still the same.
