Wise words, I think they apply to all western women too. A lot of guys just go to Thailand for “numbers” & “fun”. So it’s a difficult subject to balance. I regret not asking a girl out in a cafe I went to, and also one of the hotel staff. I think mentally you just need to accept how it is. Even at your age I can see it’s a battle to find genuine love or feelings. I’ve also think good advice is pick the girl who likes you rather than the one that looks good but brings stress.

They won’t chase after you just because you are white. If you want to find educated girls with money you have to go to certain places where these people go. Thailand, and especially Pattaya, is not the place to go if you want and expect a Western style of dating. The culture and expectations are totally different. As a foreigner, you are never going to date high society Thais, and you are forever relegated to people from a lower social and economic status who see you as a source of money. Almost every woman in Pattaya is a working girl or she freelances, so talking about Western style "red flags" is pointless. Just accept that a woman you meet in Pattaya is going to be there for the s$x industry. That's the entire reason the city even exists. You shouldn't be looking to traditionally date a woman from there under any circumstances. Options in Bangkok are better, but only slightly.

Four tips I'd like to add from my personal experiences - find a girl who can barely speak English (this means you gotta learn to speak/read/write Thai to a decent level); find one who doesn't interact with foreigners/has never really met or hung out with foreigners before (both in real life and online); find one who is happy to pay 50/50 for everything from the very first couple of dates; and finally, find one who barely goes out drinking at places you find in these videos - most decent Thai girls out there don't drink much, and they don't really "party" like all the girls you see in these videos. But seriously, if you can't get a girl interested in you in your own country and all of a sudden, you've got multiple girls interested in you in Thailand, which is either a working girl or trying to find a sugar daddy like anywhere else in the world, and then you are surprised. Number 9 and​ 10 I disagree with you! I taught​ English education majors and English Majors at a Uni. We had a lot of first year students who spoke English very well. Yes, they do have English classes ​in Thailand at the lower levels. Not all students pick up on it but at least 15 percent do. Yes, I had students who u would never know​ come from a rich family​ and u would never even know it as they did not show it. Later, it would show up on their Facebook that they actually had money. Even some of the other​ students​even purchased​ cars and condos with the money they made after Uni (of course they were​ educated). A lot of Thai women end up owning the family​ business. A common practice is to split up land and the family business to the daughters.
