Keep your price points high. The maintenance is super easy. Finding multiple cleaners was easy. Just charge more for cleaning fees to pay your cleaners more. Just padding your stays. Meaning, check out is 10:00am. Then check in is at 400PM.

Yea, I think that works in some areas, but if you are in a competitive area it becomes harder to charge more.

Imagine a felon chooses your airbnb. There is a warrant for the arrest. Then swat comes to your house uses chemical weapons and the amount of damage is 100k (must tear off walls, AC unit, all sheets, furniture, etc.)

I can't imagine owning an AirBnB somewhere that i'm not close to. It would be mega stressful! I AirBnB a high end guesthouse on my property and just that alone completely subsidizes all of my life expenses. It is completely worth it despite being a PITA every now and then. If you can do it somewhere that is easy to get to, do it people!

Relying on other for help at short term rentals is a job in itself forsure. I know a lot of people who have them on their own property and seem to do very well with them. With the new laws in washington state more people should be looking into this on their own property. Lots of benefits!
