Thornhill are killer live! I feel so lucky to have been able to see them live. Your playing is brilliant! I'm a fan of Currents too! :D nice! I'll have to check out Novelists becase i dig the Gravity riff you played! Also Between the Buried and Me wrote a song called Silent Flight Parliament which has a riff that sounds very very similar to Marigold.. However! I don't think they meant to copy BTBAM . Marigold was in 2016 and Silent Flight Parliament is from 2012 If you like Prog and metal I highly recommend Between the Buried and Me ! I love their Automata II album and Colors as well as a lot of their discography. I can't really choose a favourite

I could say the same stuff about animals as leaders, as they fit the entire fretboard into each song. Impressive, but I don’t _feel_ the music. It doesn’t move me as much as people like Allt and Glass Cloud.

At least you like Periphery, right? They have great song writing
@slowtalker2 ай бұрын
Well played and these songs seem to be well composed... But I can't like them. Tuning is way too low. Feels like it is just noise and has a futuristic dark robot vibe. I'm getting too old to be able to enjoy modern metal. I get sick of these lower tunings too fast. Still like slipknot, few songs from trivium and a lot of songs from KSE, but even though I tried, can't like songs like the ones in this video.
